Patreon Newsletter October 10th (Patreon)

Hey Artnerds!  It's been awhile!  How did like, half of October sneak by me without an update?

We're now in our (hopefully forever) home, working on getting walls painted, floors redone, wallpaper removed.  I've set up a temporary workspace, but despite having enough lamps to open a lamp shop, I still can't get the lighting right.  I know the problem- a single decent overhead light would help tremendously, but I'm torn- hopefully I wont be in this corner of the living room for too long, but I can't do anything that needs to accurately reflect color with this kinda light.

The lighting is kinda a problem, since I want to continue my Student Grade Showdown series, and accurate color representation is really important when you're reviewing art supplies.  The lights that came with the house are all warm yellow, and we haven't quite had a chance to switch some of them out, and as you can see, I'm really trying to get this workspace well lit.

Although I can't currently paint or do reviews, I CAN at least sketch and ink!  We're 10 days into Lilliputian Living, and I've been sharing it to Twitter, TikTok (quick timelapse videos) and Instagram.
