February Goodies and Update (Patreon)

Hey Artnerds!

A busy couple of weeks are coming up, and I've been hard at work getting early access stuff voiced over, uploaded, and scheduled for yall!  If you happen to like anything in particular, lemme know!  I've got a lot of ideas for the simple but high-impact watercolor tutorials, and they're fun to record (it's a chance to play!), so hopefully those are a hit.

During January, I made it a point to try to pencil and ink a lot of sketches to streamline the art-making process later on.  I've been finishing a lot of art lately, and face a very small dilemma.

So I don't know about yall, but whenever I make art, I'm always kinda torn between sharing it after I finish it (or the day after, yanno, since I work late) or holding on to it until the video is out, which usually leads to me totally forgetting to share it.  I realize I could do like, both, or share it with yall on Patreon first, and I think I'm going to start trying to make it a point to share art with yall more often.  The OTHER hangup there (can you tell I'm ADHD?) is that I'm then torn between sharing the photo (which is usually kinda meh in terms of color grading) or waiting and sharing the cleaned up scan.  Technology is wonderful and offers so many options, and I seem to be paralyzed by all of them.  Definitely a first-world problem.

If you're in South East Louisiana, the second class in How to Draw Anything is coming up!  Things get a bit more complicated as I demonstrate how to draw more complex objects including flowers, not-Gundams, and even people!  If you can make it, the class is free- you just need to register with the St Charles Parish Public library in advance, but even if you can't be there in person, I'm creating a Youtube class and a presentation so you can follow along at home.
