Monstera - 3D Printed Plant (Patreon)
Content
STL and 3MF files found here.
This design requires the use of 6mm x 3mm magnets. You will need 12 total magnets.
6 will be glued into the stems, 1 magnet per stem. 6 will be glued into the leaves, 1 magnet per leaf.
Pay close attention to polarity when gluing the magnets to ensure the leaves attach to the stems correctly.
Monstera deliciosa 'Albo Variegata'
The 3mf file is set up for multi-color printing, with all available plant options included in one file.
For those using the stl files, you will need to print 1 Stems and 6 total leaves.
There are two different variations within the deliciosa leaves, so feel free to mix and match to your liking.
Monsterra andansonii
The 3mf files includes 6 of these leaves as well.
For those of you using the stl files, all 6 leaves are part of a single stl.
There are technically 3 variations of this andansonii leaves, using the stl as it is will give you the varied look seen below.
If you'd like to mix and match, simply split the stl into objects in your slicer and adjust as you'd like.
Pots
Each pot has two indents that line up with the stems base.
You will line up the stems base with this indent, push the plant in, then turn clockwise to secure the plant. This keeps the plant securely in place.
This interlocking system is standard across all of my plants, making it simple and convenient to switch pots or plants as you choose!
