I was conflicted on doing this reaction because I don't like how the label is treating Manon, but after more thought I just feel like it wouldn't be fair to punish the rest of the group. Hopefully there's a resolution soon because these ladies are far too talented and have amazing chemistry to mess that up. PINKY UP!!

i hate how they are trying to replace manon with dani. manon being the visual, usually does the product placement and now dani is. and it feels like the lable is pushing dani further up than the others, like her having solo shots this entire video.

I’m pretty frustrated with how the groups been handled and really conflicted on continuing to support the group (obviously I’ll always support them solo). The way they marketed this to try and bring attention to it by making people think manon might be involved really disappointed me.

im also just thinking about how this song could actually be the end of katseye. manon took a big demographic from the group when she went on hiatus. this also kinda confirms manon not returning bc shes not on the song she cant perform it with them etc. the label is using hate and confusion to push the group but the public will stop caring eventually and when they do the group is going to fade

Thank you for the reaction, Danny. It's been super weird seeing how the label has handled this and how all the hate is being taken out on the girls. They mentioned in an interview yesterday that they have been rehearsing for Coachella from 9am-11pm each day to make sure it's perfect. It sucks the label is moving the way they are bc it's discrediting the girls' hard work. It's such a shame, especially since Manon has talked about how excited she was for the comeback and Coachella. We'll need to support Manon as best we can, and I think we can support the girls as well since this is clearly an issue with their racist ass management

I swear the best part of this reaction was your Patrick impression🤣😍 Not a huge fan of the song myself, it does give a kind of childish feel. It is fun but not something I'll go out of my way to listen to. I miss the original Katseye 🥲

I think they could have given katseye a better song than this, I wish they would let them release the music they have been working on themselves

Hi Juke! Thanks for the reaction. I liked Gnarly but I liked it for the moment it was. I was not expecting them to keep trying to push this type of vibe for the group. I'm not a big fan and I'm generally seeing that as a consensus among fans. As someone who's been a Kpop fan for well over a decade... my hopes for Katseye are low at this point and that's nothing to do with the members ofc, I think management is gonna ruin this group ultimately. That being said, there is another group that is a global group that I think you'd like. Please let me know if you're not a fan of putting suggestions on a another groups video I'd totally understand btw. But if you're interested the group is called XG or Xtraordinary Genes. They started off as Xtraordinary Girls and they are kpop adjacent with all members being Japanese but they were trained in Korea. All of their songs are in English and they promote heavily in the West. Their style is an amalgamation of genres but grounded in R&B/Hip-hip and I think you'll really like it as well as their music videos. They recently changed their name cus one of the members came out as transgender (non-binary) so the group has been changing things to include them which is INCREDIBLY rare for the Kpop/Asian-pop world as normally idols get shunned and dropped from their labels for coming out as queer (has happened numerous times). So, this is unprecedented levels of acceptance and it is so heart warming to see. Anyways sorry for the long comment but I really think more people should check them out and I think they make sense for the type of artists you usually react to while expanding your horizons just a bit.
