Try not to stress too much about the shuffle thing! Still enjoying the reaction! Been looooving this album!

River

Gas station is so crazy because the beat is so fun but the lyrics are actually about being abandoned at a gas station by her father when she was younger

River

Its always refreshing hearing you speak out so passionately about such important topics that some are too afraid to talk about. Its really appreciated

I’ve heard of Slayyyter and maybe 1 or 2 songs. And I must say she’s amazing. This is music I can vibe to.

River

There is a music video for all the songs i believe!

anna

i’m so glad you’re loving it so far! i’m only about an hour into the reaction so far lol. i love this album so much it sounds so fresh and new everytime. i suggest the music videos especially for cannibalism, crank, dance and beat up chanel’s. also, there’s some good interviews she did on youtube if you decide to do any! she performed at coachella this year too!

Bryson

I warned you to bring oxygen lmao!! Slayyyter is a gay icon. The queer and underground/club communities have been lifting her up for so long, and it brings tears to my eyes to see her finally having a major moment. This is just the beginning. You’re welcome for the recommendation! I’m sure you’d LOVE Starfucker as well, btw. I have to highlight these songs: -Old Technology (about her relapsing and going on a bender, likely due to depression) -Gas Station (her father literally abandoning her at a gas station after an argument) -WHAT IT'S LIKE TO BE SO LIKED (her questioning her validity as an artist after 10 years of work and not making it big) -Brittany Murphy (you learned what that one’s about in the video) They’re all really sad tracks with incredible production; you could easily miss how dark they are if you’re not paying attention to the lyrics. She said that was intentional, and that’s why I love them so much. My faves are DANCE, ST. LOSER, and YES GODDD—one of the best things to ever bless my ears. I wish I could comfort you with the relationship stuff, but I’m simply too gay and single to relate… so I just kinda zoned out and stared at your arms while you were ranting about the dating woes of men & women in 2026. Sorry not sorry, my friend. ❤️

Yay this was so much fun I’m glad you liked this! Her coachella set was so good it’s defo worth checking out. $t loser was so good live it instantly became my fave. Her concert for the end of this year is already completely sold out in the uk (finally getting the recognition she deserves 👏🏼). I just managed to get some tickets for Scotland so imma have to trek there but it’ll defo be worth it haha

danny

yayy!!!!!!! im so glad u liked it!

danny

And she is totally drop dead gorgeous yes

Mia Emilia

Hey Danny! Please react to her self title mixtape ‘Slayyyter’🩷 it’s amazing too!

Mia Emilia

I’m so glad you finally reacted to her! She’s absolutely Britney and Gaga’s daughter😭❤️

danny

If and when you do Britney Spears you have to listen to Perfume! I honestly think its one of her best songs because it shows a more emotional depth and different range for her.

Love this, and love this discovery for you! For me, the album is all about a character arc, taking us from her loud, abrasive party girl persona to something way deeper. I think you can feel the internal struggle in "Gas Station," where she unpacks some serious trauma from her past, specifically dealing with being abandoned by her dad. It’s like she peels back the layers, showing those moments of vulnerability amid all the chaos. The transition from the introspective "Prayer" to the dark closure of "Brittany Murphy" hits hard. I think it symbolises the death of her old self and hints at a new, more authentic identity. Plus, it’s not just about her personal journey - it’s a clever dig at the hollowness of fame and the messiness of late-stage capitalism. I think it’s a sharp critique wrapped in pop and synthcore perfection. Just wait until you see the videos...! Prepare yourself - they are A LOT (in the best way possible)!
