I genuinely was sooooo curious how she was gunna redo killah, which is my favorite song on the album (yes I know my taste is impeccable) and she ate that up. Loved the dissonance in her layering and the energy and ya I’m just obsessed with her. She gets better every time she gets on stage.

People really are driven by fear. I feel like most people live their life of comfort not because they genuinely enjoy it and are satisfied but because it’s easier than the hard thing and they’ve settled for that. It’s like a muscle. If you do things that scare you, the next time will be less scary. But if you stop putting yourself out there and doing hard things you will sink further and further into a shell. Like going to the gym. If you stop moving your body you will regress physically. A moto I live by is to seek discomfort. Get out and do things that make you uncomfortable (obviously be safe and have boundaries) but like you will never be truly happy if you do nothing and you go for the comfortable option. When I first left my family and friends to drive around the country I was terrified. I cried while driving for 7 hours straight until I went to sleep. It was hard. But I knew that if I did it my life would change and I would grow so much. And it did. Do the hard thing guys. You only have one life. That’s my Ted talk psa 😂

This show was honestly so phenomenal. Not sure if you realized but it was in the order of the album track list. My favs immediately from being there were zombieboy, lovedrug, how bad do u want me, and abracadabra. But it’s honestly all so good. The next film will be the mayhem ball film. And I was also in attendance for the filming of that in LA. I’m not sure if you remember but the Chromatica ball was also filmed in LA. And mayhem ball being filmed in LA is completely intentional. This era started with the Chromatica ball in a sense. And I think that’s why she filmed both tours here. I was filmed prior to walking in and during the show at barricade so hopefully I make the cut lol Also before monster ball. I would recommend watching monster at the chromatica ball before again, it’s one of the few performances where Gaga referenced herself almost exactly the way it was done in another tour with that song.

Around 6:10 in you mention the gothic setting. She has credited herself in creating an opera house for the Mayhem tour/Coachella/Gagacabana, and here in Requiem these are the ruins of the opera house putting to rest the Mayhem era. Not correcting, just letting you know how epic this set really is!

I think this was a sensational set - I love the dark, post-apocalyptic vibe. My favs were Disease, Garden of Eden and Killah but Die with a smile truly stood out to me. Probably because Nightcall by Kavinsky is one of my favorite songs ever and it works so well with this!

Mayhem was my healing era ... i love it so so much and when i saw that mayhem was coming to an end i cried ... I actually cried because I don't wanna lose mayhem... gaga was afraid to come back to this type of music ... she showed us that she doesn't need to be scared ... mayhem was born and gaga came back , not the old gaga ! But a new form hof her that showed us what real music an talent means!!!
