Omggg you were on it!!! I listened while I was live streaming, I was genuinely jaw dropped. I love her so much, the timing on this song is just wild for me😅

Loved your reaction and breakdown! Gracie never misses tbh 😎🔥

Liv Heskett

Ok I’ve never listened to Gracie before so this will be my first experience. I’ll report back lol

HIT THE WALL IS SO GOOD!!!!!

Caroline

Loved your breakdown! Gracie is just so good at expressing such universal and relatable emotions through her music. She is always writing from such a self-sabotaging and anxious place that you don't get a whole ton from artists. Like her song "Best," for example, where she blames herself rather than the other person. It's all so honest, which makes it all the more relatable.

Mary

Such a great song!

Meg🍳

"You'll bend to my silence its so loud" so many impactful lyrics in this song!

Tori

loved your breakdown! it feels so beautiful and painfully relatable to me, it feels like self sabotage constant anxiety and insecurity driving you insane with this longing for closeness you still push away

Savannah Marrero

i think you were pretty much spot on i really recommend watching her most recent nterview with zane lowe i feel like it gave me a lot of perspective on this song

Finishing up the reaction finally and you always have a great way with words Danny. You described what I thought of it too pretty well. I love how she shows us she resonates with all of us too. Her vulnerability is something I’ll always love her for. This video was absolutely beautiful, as well as her vocals and lyricism. Definitely one you have to think about too which I love. I laughed when you started dancing because honestly I can also dance to this🤣 I just love listening to sad music sometimes even when I’m not sad!! The lyricism in music with emotion like that is always wonderful. Add a beat I can bop my head too in any way, or one I can scream in the car too and I’m set.😌 Oh also the ricochet part might be reminding you of “My Tears Ricochet” by Taylor!!

Nora

this song couldn't have come at a better time😭 such a beautiful, real and raw song!! absolutely loved it, and I'll leave it at that and go cry now haha:'):'):')

Valentina

I love the visuals and the melody!! The lyrics resonate with me so much 🥹 I love her. I’m afraid sad girl music might actually be my favorite genre. I always go back to good riddance, folklore, and TTPD. DFH will definitely be added to that playlist ✍️

These lyrics are so so sad omg this album might actually break me

this song is so old gracie like "this is what it feels like" and "minor" gracie which you are yet to listen to haha. also that black and white scene probably is hinting towards her 'Good riddance' album which if you remember is b&w and the overall theme of that. someone on twitter pointed out how moving out of the blue door is like moving apart from The secret of US deluxe which was blue, mainly cz she likes to do this end of last album in the start of next. and I love how it doesnt just do a cathartic ending since its the track 1. there are so many details one of those is the red blue light -- she have performed an unreleased song on her tour at every stop called "out of nowhere" and the stage production was too similar and that song is such a banger. cant wait for that song!! anyways ty for the reaction this was my best 30 min in a while

Groovie

This was incredibly enjoyable to watch with you I absolutely love reacting to new music with someone, but since no one in real life near me shares my passion for music, these reactions are incredibly fun for me. They bring me so much joy, and I hope the same for you too!

kate

"I live in a pattern of breakdowns" she couldn't be more relatable😭 i just got diagnosed with chronic migraines and it feels like i hit another wall. her sad music will always be my fav. loved the reaction, you're so attentive!!

Im commenting as we go lol so sorry if I go crazy. First of all I'm already crying. Its too relatable😭 The scene with the piano disappearing i also noticed the radiators have left char marks all the way up the walls and I wonder what the symbolism is there. She mentions she tries to get violent but gets caught and I think the ink blot is referring to fingerprints??

Theres also a lot of references to mental hospitals in the imagery, the brain scans, the doctors, the hallucinations and even the "glass box" could reference the doctors constantly examining her mentally. The song is amazing but GOSH when shes this relatable it kills me😅😭

Madison

Feeling more mature compared to secret of us! Mid 20s are a beautiful disaster. Love your commentary

Groovie

came to rewatch thisss !!
