have to say that reading all the comments about the way this show has helped them accept themselves and come out yo their parents or how much it means to them to have this type of representation has really been so beautiful 🥹 I hope everybody knows how loved and appreciated they are here 🫂💙

Representation is SO important. Before this show, I never even considered telling anyone about my bisexuality. I spent all of my teen years thinking I'd never tell anyone and that I'd just take it to the grave with me. But seeing Nick's journey made me feel understood and helped me realize that anyone who doesn't like me for who I am doesn't deserve to be my friend anyway. And most of the time, you do need other queer people around you to feel more comfortable and secure in yourself. I'm really fond of Tara for being that person for Nick. And the relief when you tell someone and everything goes fine is such a great feeling.

Tao being a Juke Jams fan is the most astute observation you could've possibly made! 😂 Yes, Nick was watching a video from Courtney-Jai. He is a real YouTuber and bisexual. Season 1 finale up next! I look forward to crying more happy tears with you. 💕

You get a 🏆for finding it in yourself to have empathy for Harry! I don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone bring up what his home life might be like as a possibility for an explanation for his dickhead behavior!

I had much to say, but seemingly forgot all of it, because I'm just so taken with the show. I wasn't lying when I said i forgot everything. But its such a deep show that al types of people can learn from. It can heal, make people evaluate their lives, etc. But I also love all of the relationships and the whole friend group. This show is too cute and it's all I can think about.

Communication is very refreshing😌

Nick is most definitely my comfort person. Charlie is most definitely my anxious sounding board. I spend the whole time wanting to hug both of them. All the rest of the cast too for that matter. My aapa always used to say “if a person is coming from a place of goodness, let them speak”. We live in a harsh world that tries to crush kindness so to have a show celebrate it and make it a strength, well, I kinda love it. Kit and Joe did a fabulous job with these characters and I see them now when I read the novels, even with illustrations done before anyone knew it would be a tv series ❤️. It warms my heart to see you connect to them, to their story. The show has an innocent vibe but it’s also seriously done, if that makes sense.

Another fantastic reaction. Thanks for watching this show with us. Keep being you ❤️

They actually just lost the dog that played Nellie on May 18th. He’s actually a boy, and his name was Echo, he died unexpectedly of a brain tumor. I’m glad they were able to complete the series with him playing Nellie, just so sad. His owner posted on IG about losing him.

One of the things I love most about Nick and Charlie's relationship is how well they communicate with each other. It's honestly so refreshing to see a relationship in a tv show where people actually talk about what's bothering them instead of letting things build up until they explode. Their communication isn't perfect, but that's what makes it feel real and healthy. They make mistakes, they misunderstand each other sometimes, but they always try to be honest and work through things together. My boyfriend and I have pretty good communication too, and I think that's one of the most important things in any healthy relationship. If something is bothering you let's sit down and talk about it. It doesn't have to be a huge, dramatic conversation that lasts for hours, sometimes it's a five minute chat, sometimes it's much longer. What matters is being open, honest, and willing to listen to each other. Relationships aren't about never having problems, they're about being able to face those problems together. You can't read each other's minds ( But I sometimes wish my boyfriend could read my mind, because speaking can honestly be exhausting for me,I don't know if that's related to autism or something else, but I get overstimulated pretty easily, and there are times when putting my thoughts into words feels like so much effort. Sometimes I know exactly what I want to say, but actually saying it out loud feels draining, but I know that talking is essential so I need to try, thankfully my boyfriend helps me with those issues and he helps me communicate ). I also agree with you about the thing you said about dogs. I really do think they're highly sentient, emotionally intelligent animals, and I think humans could learn a thing or two from them. Their loyalty, empathy, ability to live in the moment, and the unconditional love. Animals are better than humans I would say,I love animals so much 😍😍😍😍

You'll notice as. you continue watching that the usual tropes that happen in similar shows/movies, don't happen here. There were so many times I thought certain things would happen but didn't. For example, when Nick and Charlie had their first kiss, I was so confident that they would get interrupted and the kiss wouldn't happen. Not only was I wrong, but we got two kisses between them in that moment.

Don’t know whether you can get this in the states but take a look at channel 4s Tip Toe. It’s a very hard hitting gay drama about toxic masculinity and all the crap people watch spreading disinformation x
