Such a heartfelt performance. To my understanding Taylor wasn’t even supposed to perform but went last minute to support jimmys return to the show. Also Danny I just want to say I don’t think you realize what we mean when we say Gaylors lol (although Taylor is VERY hot here ;) )the term doesn’t refer to gay Taylor swift fans but specifically to the people who harmfully speculate and craft theories about Taylor’s sexuality. Taylor herself stated she doesn’t like that. Just wanted to let you know so other people don’t misinterpret what you mean and think you support that. ♥️♥️

Loved these! The first one made my heart melt 😭💕 It’s such a lovely song! Also, just an FYI, Gaylors aren’t just fans of Taylor who are part of the LGBT or think she’s attractive, they’re people who believe and want her to be gay, and they often discredit her relationship with Travis or think it’s PR. They can be very invasive and parasocial, so I just wanted to let you know 😅

This performance always gets me.. I lost my mom unexpectedly in 2016. She was my best friend and the best mom. I was bitter and angry for a long time. I was on auto pilot. I took guardianship of my 2 nieces in 2023 and thought if we listened to Taylor together it would be something to bond over and Taylor is a great role model for them. In that process I became a Swiftie and her music helped me heal and find myself and my love for music again. It's true you find her when you need her.

New Years Day has a new meaning to me now which I never thought possible. It has me thinking about my mom and how many times I came so close to losing her. But I think this performance is beautiful and I love that she did this for Jimmy. The AMA performance of I did something bad lives rent free in my brain. And yes Karyn being there was iconic and I just love this performance so much! 💜

I don’t think Gaylors mean what you think it does. Most of them are not liked among the swifties because of their weird ass obsession that she herself is gay when she’s repeatedly said she is not. She is an ally and loved among tons in the LGBTQ community but when you think of Gaylors, it’s not a good term among most of us swifties.

Aaaww so happy you ended up reacting to the Jimmy Fallon performance! Omg I cry every time I hear him talk about his mom. It's amazing that the lyrics matched his relationship to her so perfectly with the "squeeze my hand three times" 😭 that's part of why Taylor is just such a great songwriter. We can all find songs that completely speak to our lives at any given time. I love that she showed up for him in this way, and I think you can really tell in subsequent appearances on his show how much he appreciates her as a person and loves her music. 🥰 It was definitely a great idea to transition into IDSB at the AMAs! We needed that pick me up. Lol and aaww I love that you get so into the performances! Be careful not to hurt yourself though!
