I understand now what Nightwish fans mean by being "Floored."

I think this is the cutest phrase I've ever heard!

...anyway, my love for this musical is very strong and seeing the powerhouse, Floor, sing it? This was an experience!

I highly encourage all of you to watch the opera or the movie if you've never seen it before. The songs will get in your ears for weeks!

Floor studied at something called Dutch rock academy, at that time she already performed with band, later one year at Conservatorium Tilburg. Its Nightwish version of the song. Hank played role of Phantom for many years. in full episode of Beste Zanger (shallow reaction) Hank tolk about how he had to learned to add distortion to voice for this version of Phantom

Thats what i love about this song - your mind/my mind my voice/your voice.

On Nightwish chanel there are versions with Floor and with Tarja (first singer). You can recognize Tarja version thumbnail (different woman with golden microphone and dresses). In the End of Era show Tarja did several dresses changes and always used microphone with matching collour.

Floor's backing backing band is pretty much the same one from the Beste Zangers show. Henk is a magnificent performer. All the duets he and Floor did together are worth checking out. Floor recently did an interview with The Charismatic Voice in which they talked voice technic and such. It's a great conversation

That Amsterdam show have great mix of previous Floors bands songs, Nigtwish songs, covers from Beste Zangers and i think Sweet Curse ( from Jackyl and Hyde was premiere)

You should listen to Nightwish "End of an Era" show version of this song. Marko gives us a new interpretation of The Phantom along with Tarja's more classic operatic sounding voice. Cheers!
