Do you really want me to write what I think about YouTube? No ... no you don't ;) .

Vlad the Maidiac

You should have checked the MV 😶‍🌫️ While the MV is purely magical, this live performance makes me dizzy, really. I understand they have to organize something colourful for a live show, but the sound quality is much worse. [MV] REOL - 宵々古今 / YoiYoi Kokon https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8IK6eLTNV1k REOL (stylized as RΞOL) was a Japanese musical unit that consisted of vocalist/lyricist Reol, Vocaloid music arranger GigaP, and movie director/producer Okiku. As you can see, her live shows now are. basically, a karaoke exercise. It's not a live band, there is really nothing to expect from her live shows, I would say. It's not BAND-MAID and not ASTERISM. But their albums from that era are amazing. Very nice music. 28 songs in total, which I think were a valuable contribution to the world music. Three albums: -- No Title -- Sigma -- Endless EP My favourites are: [MV] REOL - ギミアブレスタッナウ/ Give me a break Stop now https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n5CwXuyNfoc [MV] REOL - ちるちる / ChiruChiru https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VVaNq9uSJgY [MV] REOL - No title https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LfephiFN76E [MV] REOL - ヒビカセ / Hibikase https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UC_qla6FQwM (the same theme as BAND-MAID's REAL EXISTENCE -- that robots also have a soul, and this soul looks at us from the other side of the screen) B12 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P1zz5OZ4ljU But really, all those 28 songs are great. REOL also covered this song, ECHO by Crusher-P, but I don't like her cover. The original, though, is a must see. It's an immortal piece of music created by some obscure American girl who was in depression at the moment: 【VOCALOID Original】 ECHO【Gumi English】 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cQKGUgOfD8U She never created anything equal in greatness since then, but this one is an absolute masterpiece. In this one, she used Vocaloid GUMI for the voice. You have listened before to another version of Vocaloid, Hatsune Miku. GUMI is a much lower and more human-like voice, I like it much more, personally. I don't if it makes sense to react to these songs. For me they are just the music to meditate on. There is something special in it, I don't know what it is...

Thanks for this info. The performance is fun from a standpoint of “it looks like fun” on stage so it seemed exciting. My girl brain really liked the outfits. 😅 I need to research vocaloid music more. I have had it explained to me a few times and while I understand what I am reading and I don’t feel like I am fully comprehending. I actually wouldn’t mind doing a research project on it and turn it into a video possibly. I’ve heard so many positive and negative things about it that I am just overall curious about it.

Lmao! I like YouTube, but I imagine as a creator of more unique content and such it’s not so kind. 🙃
