I know it's only episode 4, but I wanted to thank you all for watching this with me.

While watching this, I am enjoying the show, but I feel like I am sharing more about myself with you all. I feel like I am also learning a lot about you all as well. It feels like a little family over here!

Anyway, I really liked this episode because Ryo-san is right. Great bands write lyrics from the heart. Lyrics that are real. Not everyone will like it, but it's the connection that counts.

With that being said, what is your favorite song that really resonates with you lyrics-wise?

just a quick note, a reactor got a strike for reaction to one of the songs from this show, it was on YT though.

Yeah, I’ve had the video blocked before. This is why I had to post a reaction here. …also…this wasn’t supposed to post until tomorrow, but oh well. Lol.

Thanks for reacting to the show, I really liked this anime.

Thanks Nitt for another great re-action

Princess NittPicc, I am so glad you're doing this. This sweet anime really makes my day. You are right, this anime is adorable. I can't wait to see the next episode.

I will watch it later today. I was thinking about great song lyrics. One is song i didn't heard for a long time Mad world by Gary Jules and second one Black holes by Warning. Sorry can't think any happy song. I am tired, that makes me feel more down than usual.

The painted wall where Kessoku Band take their jumping promo picture is a real location, several artists I follow have taken their own selfies in front of it for their socials as a tribute to the show. Also, more real life band puns, inside Bocchi's closet where she hides to write lyrics and record her YT covers there's a Hako-Boon poster with astronauts on it. This is referencing the band Kana-Boon, who have done a bunch of anime OP/ED's, their lead singer/rhythm guitarist Maguro Taniguchi also wrote the music & lyrics for 'Distortion!!' the ED used for the first three episodes of Bocchi prior to this episode.

Second ending. Song name "Karakara". Means "almost empty" I think. Composed by Ikkyu Nakajima, vocalist/guitarist of Tricot and sung by Saku Mizuno, the voice actress of Ryo. Ryo dialog between Ryo and Bocchi in the restauran is....cheff kiss. Episode 4 is one of the most important of the series as is the connection of Bocchi and Ryo as both are the creative impulse of the band. Nijika is the soul, Kita is the face and Ryo and Bocchi are the brains. The last crackling laugh of Bocchi is one of the most funniest things I've ever saw...HA HA.

Don't apologise for way you laugh. There is not right way how to laught, everebody has their unique way. Hope after few more episodes, you will stop noticing it.

NittPicc Reacts

Thanks 🙏 It’s hard sometimes when I go back and rewatch my edits and my laugh comes through so loud. I’ve been told in the past that I talk too much and that my laugh is annoying so sometimes it can be hard to let those little things go. 😅

NittPicc Reacts

I agree! Seeing them come together and hearing Roy tell Bocchi that she should go with her original creative ideas was so beautiful. I understand the idea of creating something for the masses vs creating something that reaches to not everyone but to those who appreciate it. It’s a delicate balance. I am loving this anime so much…!

NittPicc Reacts

I love it when anime’s take real locations and insert them into their shows. It makes me want to find them if (when?) I go to Japan. …and that’s cool that they’ve entered those easter eggs! I need to check out that band now!

I see everyone is saying the same thing, but as an additional word of encouragement… I enjoy watching reactions and I’ve currently been hooked on this show. So I’ve sought out people who reacted to this show in particular. Your laugh is authentic and that’s much better than 90% of most reactors. So just like Ryo said with Bocchi’s lyrics, “losing your uniqueness is the equivalent to dying” and your laugh is part of that. So I enjoy it. Thank you for your reaction.

🥹🥹🥹 Thank you! I really love to laugh and sometimes it’s extremely boisterous and it can make me feel embarrassed as times. I’m glad that I’m not annoying anyone here. 😅
