I promise we will get back to music reactions!

I am just dying to see the MAIDS be themselves on stage. Honestly, I am tempted to jump into the documentaries right away...

...but I think some music should come first, right? 😅

While not as long as this, the answer is yes, there was talking to and with the fans at every US show. Miku was always on the lookout for fans not participating in Magic Spell time, and would point them out! "You are trapped here with Kobato! You MUST Join in!" Participated four times, so far, and every one was different and fun! When you get to Miku's documentary, you will have a better understanding. There are several YouTube videos featuring Miku's Omajinai Time from different shows, but the Salt Lake City one features a mini Miku and is so cute and endearing!

All becomes clear in Miku documentaries - if current projections correct 3rd week in July

I don't mind the "non" music stuff at all. It's fun to see you getting to see them as "real" people. I really am waiting for you to continue with the Orenje Docs. His 3-part Miku set has the best (my opinion) Omajinai time cuts. Thanks again!!

NittPicc, have you tried plantains? would your allergies be triggered by them? Not quite the same, but similar nutrition. Just a thought.

Charles Coleman

Not sure, but I know that bananas are good for preventing and curing heat cramps. As much energy as Akane expends in her drumming, they might be essential for that.

Charles Coleman

Dear NittPicc, during the 2022 US tour, among other things, every show had "Misa's Opening Ceremony" where she would open her beer to loud applause. Also there was Akane's banana time where she would first eat a banana, then sign it and throw it into the audience, also to great applause and laughter! Every show is a little bit different and always a lot of fun in so many ways.

Charles Coleman

Yes, NittPicc, for reasons we will not tell you, the Omajinai time in Salt Lake City is off the charts cute and endearing.

Our Dearest NittPicc, you really do need to find out about Omajinai Time. Yes, they do them at their US tours too. They are always lots of fun and never the same. And if you don't participate, The Pigeon will call you out. In Philly '22, I was on the rail, Misa side, with my two best friends and Vladimir Chupin - BM community legend. During Omajinai Time, Miku scolded my friend Ted because he was not saying "Moe! Moe!" She looked right at him as she said this and I busted a gut laughing! I enjoy reminding him of this often.

Charles Coleman

If you are looking for Omajinai Time videos, there are many on YT fancam videos. I would suggest asking both Ohrenje and Vladimir Chupin if they have any favorites. Vladimir probably has many amongst his own, large and impressive video collection.

The Maids (Kobato) does Omajanai Time at ever show. It is a helluva of a lot of fun. The other Maids (especially Akane AND MISA) find ways to distract Kobato during her Omajanai Time.

I love watching you watch them goof around. You have so much hilarity awaiting you!

The bananas are important to Akane as physical activity depletes potassium very quickly and can causes muscle fatigue and muscle cramps. A medium banana has 445 MG of potassium as opposed to 45 MG in Gatorade and is absorbed much more quickly. She needs a lot of bananas during the show to keep up her strength. Magic spell time is a carry over from the maid cafes - Ohrenje docs for Miku explains that whole concept. Once you watch those, there Vlad has some great fancams of that.

NittPicc, you should check out the Yokohama Arena documentary. It will give you what you are wanting. Great footage of them in their natural habitat, the rehearsal studio, interacting with each other. Great behind the scenes look leading up to their 10th anniversary concert, including band meetings and walkthroughs.

Kaminari cables are very expensive according to Google. BTW recently, an overseas fan won one of MISA's old bass cases - getting it home was apparently fun...

This was probably one of their most challenging performances. COVID restrictions hadn't yet been lifted, and attendees were advised not to shout, sing, etc (although some did loosen up throughout the night). For any band, but especially for this one that thrives on audience interaction, performing in front of 8,000 silent people must have been quite a challenge.
