sigh...You knew what you were doing when you suggested this one...

I wasn't a blubbering mess this time though, so there's one plus on my part.

So Hyang though? A million pluses. This woman is an angel on earth.

Check out one of her more recent original songs, again a ‘live’ offering, but this time without an audience as they were using the recording for the album.

I also notice your interest in the song ‘golden’, which seems to blowing up everywhere at the moment, well! Sohyang has just dropped her performance of this song. I see you’ve tended to stick with the big ‘power ballads’ when reacting to Sohyang but don’t make the mistake of thinking thats all she does because it is impossible to tie her to one genre, you have yet to hear her sing blues/jazz, rock, classical, k-pop,& no surprise, this amazing lady can rap, but her heart is with gospel. Her latest to drop is ‘golden’ as I’ve already mentioned, and a ‘big’ live performance of ‘gangsta’a paradise’,!which she managed to blend with a bit of Mozart’s ‘Lacrimosa’ 😂😂 I mean, who else would do that? Dimash maybe!!!!!!! As you managed to keep yourself together on this reaction, does it mean you are prepared to do Sohyang reactions more often?😂😂.

WHAT?!? Omg! I am gonna have to check that out! …and I’m always open to reacting to more of her performances. I just always try to have a variety of reactions before returning to a loved artist. 🥰

😂😂😂😂 just realised I didn’t tell you the name of the Sohyang original I recommended🤯🤯it’s been one of those days!!!

😂😂😂 I think I’m going mad. Right, eventually, the song is called ‘til you love me again’

This performance was my intro to Sohyang. I was there! 😆. Long story but on a work trip to Incheon and a Korean/American counterpart invited me to go. The rest is history. Also, this is the performance that Oprah's manager saw, showed to Oprah who supposedly immediately contacted David Foster, sending him on a journey to find her and convince her to perform with him at Tokyo's famous Blue Note Jazz club for 8 shows(can be found on yt). I'm going to post an original of hers suggestion in discord patreon suggestion thread. Ps- "it's about that time"...sorry, not sorry 😁

There is another video available of this performance but from a closer camera, which shows you a few things you can’t really see in this video. Firstly, it’s far easier to see the emotion she is singing with & all that technical stuff like a relaxed jaw & mouth shapes etc etc. Bit the thing that I found really amazing ( freaky!!) is that we all know this is one of the hardest songs to sing well, for any vocalist but if you watch Sohyang at the start of the second verse, she walks forward whilst pointing at the audience & she’s smiling!!!! Who the hell finds this song so easy that they can be smiling whilst singing it? This one think shows just how relaxed she was singing it, it wasn’t a difficult task for her.
