Bacchus really stuck the knife in Lilisa's heart, didn't they?

...also, it's really exciting to see Alice helping her sister in this episode. Good for her and her sharp words to Bacchus' "manager."

I am sad that the women there to see Bacchus is already trashing Lilisa and the girls all because they are women. What happened to women supporting women?! I'm so worried about their battle!!!

For Bacchus, it is the roman god of wine and all sort of little pleasure like dance and feast to... orgy (you talked about it first). He is the roman version of the greek god Dionysos. I love mythology so I know that pretty well lol. But yeah, the suck a lot and are made to make us mad at them. Now that you're almost at the end, you should know that the pay off is always good in this one, yeah they didn't win vs Bitter Ganache, but their perf was top, so get ready for what's come next. Also, Alice was in yuri heaven between the three others lol. It was a little too much for her yet, but on another note, we can all agree that the relationship evolution between her and Lilisa is the real developement of the show and we love to see it. Alice defending Lilisa was cool, but Lilisa ready to throw hands for Alice ? That was badass (and the hug after this, so cute). As for the crocodile with a guitare, I could assume it might be a ref to Aggretsuko, wich is the story of a red panda office lady (in a world full of furries characters), that sing metal to blow out steam.

The dinosaur girl with the guitar is Bocchi in her Bocchizilla mode. The pink girl with cat ears reference is about "BanG Dream! It's MyGO!!!!!"

Hmmm... Doing something just for personal enjoyment... Hmmm... Well, if the condition is that it would really have zero social value, then I think you can put into this category only things like listening to music or watching anime. Well, you can draw or play music only for yourself, of course, but I don't think a lot of people do it. That's why Otoha's attitude seems quite crazy to me. OK, she does not want to be engaged in competitions and fights, maybe that's the reason. I doubt that public performances really make her feel bad. Ideally, yes, you should create beauty for God, not for people. But that's what all great creators do. BAND-MAID is clearly doing what THEY want, not what the fans (presumably) want. Those musicians who try to make a market analysis and manufacture a product that sells, they never create anything interesting. In music, you as a musician must be the source of beauty, of innovations, of interesting things. If you just try to please the fans, you'll be lost. Because music tastes are very different in different people, and while serving one person's tastes, others will despise what you're doing. I remember how one of my friends, after visiting China, told me how shocked he was to learn that in the temples, the beams are painted with those beautiful pictures from all sides—even from the top, where nobody sees them. Because that beauty is for God, not for people. To draw those beautiful ornaments only where people see them would be utterly wrong, it would mean you pray to people, not to God. I strongly believe a truly great musician should never listen to the complaints of the fans. Each time BAND-MAID releases a new album, always some people start to whine, "Oh, I don't like it, I lost interest in what BAND-MAID is doing, 'Just Bring It' was their last good album." If Kanami would listen to such guys, she would be paralysed. But fortunately, she does not give a shit about such complaints, she just does what she believes is the best thing. OK, they listen to the wishes of the anime directors when an anime OP or ED is commissioned from them. But mostly those directors are smart enough to understand that if they come to BAND-MAID asking for a song, the best thing to do is to let them create freely. Yes, Miku and Kanami will read the manga in question. Yes, Saiki will go to her friend who plays Rainbow Six Siege and ask him what the game is about, and then tell Miku what the lyrics for Hibana/Spark must be. (By the way, it turned out to be one of the best BAND-MAID songs, in my humble opinion). And so on and so forth. But that's what BAND-MAID themselves do as professionals. They want a commissioned song to be relevant, they consider it to be part of their professional qualification to do it this way. It's not a limitation on their creativity but an inspiration for it.

As Spadeus said, Bacchus is the Roman God of Wine and all the fun that is had drinking wine!

I have absolutely NO musical talent and I LOVE instrumentals I have always been a fan of swing and Have all Mike Oldfield's albums (even the ones WITH vocals). Don't know if you have ever heard of Sky but they where fantastic in rocking up Classical and Jazz hits their "Toccata and Fugue in D Minor" is one of my all time favourite pieces of music.

Bacchus is pretty terrible. Which is the point, of course; they're made for us to hate so we'll root for the girls. Their fans are typical toxic fans, not really there for the music, just for their fandom, so of course no one is allowed to beat their precious band. Even if that band sucks. The manager definitely is on the girls' side; she knows talent and passion when she sees it. But, as she says, she has a business to run. She'll give them a stage to prove themselves but they have to carry their own weight by bringing in a paying audience.

Bacchus' origins might partly be tongue in cheek references to the South Korean girl band QWER; they were originally formed through a YT project by producer Egg Kim, with 'Bocchi the Rock' being one of his inspirations behind the concept. Prior to starting the band drummer Chodan and bassist Magenta were active streamers on Twitch, lead guitar/keys player Hina was a popular content creator and cosplayer on TikTok, and rhythm guitar/main vocalist Siyeon is a former member of the Japanese idol group NMB48. They've faced unfair criticism as 'fake idols' for not being poppy enough for K-Pop fans and too poppy for rock fans; as well as beginning with an existing fanbase from their prior careers & corporate support (1.25m followers on YT despite their debut only being released in Oct '23). But unlike Bacchus they seem far more motivated by getting better at their instruments (believe at least Chodan & Hina already played) and are gradually getting more involved in writing their own music. They're actually turning into a decent pop-rock band with their own identifiable sound and the hope is they might help inspire a new wave of bands/musicians in the very k-pop dominated South Korea, similar to how Scandal & K-On inspired a bunch in Japan in the early 00s. Another fun thing was on their last visit to Japan they visited the Girls Band Cry exhibition and hung out with the three fully active members of Togenashi Togeari, filming a bunch of cute shorts for socials. My knowledge of QWER is pretty limited overall compared to their dedicated fans, but I'll pop one of their most successful singles into the Discord in case you fancy checking them out.

Others have already explain who Bacchus is and might've heard the term bacchanalian before used to describe uninhibited or drunken revelry. But what you might not know is that Bacchus is also a Japanese guitar & bass luthier brand that make Fami from Lovebites' signature headless five string bass model.
