I will be recording this and putting it on YouTube eventually, but I figured I should share with you all first...

Smooth, clean and nice tone!

Great! Nice bass and wonderful tone. Try to find a spot to rest your picking hand (on the side of your palm maybe) ... it will help you gain control. It's up in the air ;) . Keep in mind I play nothing ... but used to :p .

Anything helps! I honestly have been struggling with my picking technique so thinking about how to rest my hand somewhere is helpful. I also don’t want to look so stiff lol. Editing this and watching myself play was…difficult. Lol

Play first, rockstar pose second :p . You can always rest the underside of your wrist on the instrument as well ... just something to be grounded by. As you play faster you will need a point of reference. Keep practicing and have fun :) ! It's GrungePicc :p .

By any chance are you playing this with a regular sized guitar pick? All the notes are played cleanly and I can hear & see a greater fluidity than your last video. But the lower parts, particularly the riff pedaling between F# and A needs more aggression in the right hand if you're looking to emulate Krist's energy. One of the reasons many bassists like Misa play with larger equilateral triangle shaped picks is that their greater surface area makes it easier to maintain your grip whilst have a decent amount of tip exposed for striking thicker bass strings, usually they're on the flexible side as well (typically 0.7-0.9mm) as it offers less resistance when striking through the strings. Tonally to get closer to the original (Krist played a Gibson L9-S Ripper) to my ears you want to aim for a slightly brighter less woolly sound, the Ripper has different electronics & switching so this is more of an approximation going off my ears. I'm assuming you were just playing with both pickups turned up fully. What you want to try for is a variation of the Fender Jazz bass out of phase 'honk'. Start by rolling off the neck pickup entirely (your bass has two volumes and a master tone) so you just have the bridge pickup and the tone up fully. Then gradually roll the neck pickup up whilst hammering on with the fretting hand, pretty early on you should go from the sound getting fatter as you increase the volume, to a point where there's some phase cancellation in the circuit from the partial blend of the two pickup signals. This thins the sound just slightly and adds a bit of bite, that enables the note definition of what you're playing to cut through a mix in a more focused manner.

When using a plectrum a floating picking hand is more common in bass than guitar, though I would recommend looking at some live videos of Misa, she partially rests her forearm on the upper bout of the bass body and whilst her picking hand floats above the strings unless she's palm muting, she does extend her little finger out beyond the high G almost like a locator, especially during faster runs. Anchoring to the body as you suggest is more of a thing with fingerstyle I've found.

Loosen that strap and sling it low like Krist! (JK, he has longer arms 😀) There was a joke in response to anyone praising Krist as the best, or as their favorite bass player: "Krist Novoselic isn't even the best bass player IN NIRVANA!" ...alluding to the fact that both Kurt and Dave are competent bass players as well. (Dave played everything on the first Foo Fighters album.) The joke was used for other musicians/bands before that, however. Someone said the same thing about Ringo in the Beatles, since Paul McCartney played drums on a couple Beatles tracks, as well as his entire debut solo album (along with all the other instruments.)
