...and thus ends K-ON! season 1.

It was a great ride...

We are going to continue into season 2. I want to see how much further they go and I want to watch that movie!

I am so happy that they had the opportunity to play a live venue vs only playing at their school. This their first step to the Budokan!

You must do the reaction on K-On live where all those real voice actoress sing the songs with their instruments and surprisingly, all of them never played before. E.g. Mio's voice actress never played bass or Yui's VA never played a guitar before. But, they practiced it just for the live concerts.

Btw, my favorite whiskey is highball

Goodbye to season 1, and goodbye to the great firsts opening and ending. Favorite drink?....if you ask me 10 years ago I answered beer, but now I'm more into rum and gin.

the concert is great fun when they actually start playing their own instruments. its super cute. theyre obviously not professionals and dont play the best, but its so enjoyable seeing them actually play. Mugi's VA (Minako Kotobuki, who shares the same last name as mugi funnily enough), and Ritsu's VA (Satomi Satou) play well enough I was convinced they played before these live shows. (PS fun fact, while looking up minako on the k-on wiki, i found the extremely shocking fact that she was SEVENTEEN when she was casted for mugi. She was actually younger than mugi by a few months by the end of the show which is a crazy fact)

Very glad to see all of s1 done, and that you're hopping straight into Season 2. While season 1 is enjoyable, season 2 is very very special to me, and I'm excited to see you watch all of it (plus the movie at the end!). While the show will pretty much be the same going into the next season tonally and structually, the quality of the visuals and writing, jokes, and the amount of heart thats put into almost all 26 episodes skyrockets. The only thing to lament leaving behind in season 1 is the incredible ed but we get one almost as good some point into season 2 imo

Yes! They were having a blast. Among K-On characters, who is your favorite? I like Mugi as she is innocent, humble and fun to be with her. How I wish I have a friend like her.

Glyc

its hard for me to beat azusa or yui. its a toss up between these two depending on the day. feel like its a boring answer cause theyre kiiiinda the main characters of each season imo, but the arcs they go through is so heartfelt for me. especially azusa in season 2. in highschool I related to her behavior and the way she behaves around the rest of her friends a good bit. so as of today its azusa, and tomorrow itll be yui

Joe Kuan

Yes! Especially the last episode and the ending movie. OMG! Their friendships are too strong! However, in manga Yui, Mio, Mugi and Ritsu went to the same college and the K-On is very popular in the college. Lots of fans. And, they also have another added another member (can't remember what instruments she played). Meanwhile, Azusa has become the president of K-On in school. Ui, Yui's sister joined the club with a friend (not sure what's her name but always together with Yui and Azusa) and a another member ( can't rmb her name too)
