I apologize for the severe girly reaction that comes out of me in this episode. I hope it's not too annyoing!

As much as I love episodes where Maomao is working on finding a solution to an illness or ruminating on how someone became poisoned or harmed in the first place...I enjoy seeing these episodes that are based around both Jinshi and Maomao. I know I was skeptical at first of that Eunuch, but man oh man...things are...heating up for me. He seems like he honestly likes Maomao and what she believes in and does.

...anyway...how about them Cowboys? Heh... *shuffles feet and blushes*

Just for the age, if I remember, Maomao was 16 at the start and is now 17 or close to 17. Jinshi joked about passing a bill that would banish minor from drinking and Maomao was afraid of that, so that was a clue that she wasn't at least 18. Jinshi is supposed to be 21 and close to 22, but remember what Maomao said, if the baby of the empress and Ah-Duo were exchanged, that would mean Jinshi is in reality 17 and close to 18. Don't worry about your girly side showing off here, the Jinshi x Maomao ship have the same effect on everyone (and you are the fifth person reacting to the show I've seen ^^).

We've tried to tell you a bunch of times that because of the commercial potential this show had been commissioned in dual cour format, that means 24-26 episode blocks over two consecutive calendar seasons rather than the more typical 10-13 episodes at a time and hoping it does well enough to get re-commissioned. I can't really discuss this episode much without risking falling into spoiler territory with stuff that comes later. As for articulating my thoughts and feelings well, these days I'm usually fine in a professional context but my partner can find me extremely frustrating at times, as I'm not always the best at explaining my inner viewpoint clearly; though she acknowledges I have improved since we first started going out.

My bad about the understanding of the reason why there are so many episodes in season 1. I know I read it, but I forget after each week. Honestly it feels like my brain works like “50 first dates” sometimes.
