I really loved the first time I reacted to ZUTOMAYO's "Darkness."

This performing group not only puts on a great theatrical show, but puts out some absolutely beautiful music.

This performance feels pretty intimate from our singer who is center stage. She is singing emotionally and so much so that even her breathing is emotional.

The harp, strings and percussion is doing a great job accompanying her.

This is the other side of Zutomayo, intimate and melodic, a truly versatile group of musicians. ACA-ne is truly sublime in this concert.

This version is very different from the album version with all the strings/harp and whatnot. Not my favourite type of Zutomayo track, I will always prefer their more upbeat/funky music (this goes for almost all bands), but it's really well done without question. It's actually so well done that it's a slower song that I do still enjoy which doesn't happen often for music that isn't doom metal/funeral doom or modern classical or ambient electronic stuff. Probably because it's more on the sadder sounding side of the spectrum and not on the more ballady side of things, which generally is not for me. I just love watching them live, especially because I do hear the slight wrong notes and things like that and I just prefer music that is a bit less cleaned up (this without question still has post-production, but not overly done). And yes, ACAね doesn't show her face. It's funny, even on their website there is a photo section and there are a bunch of photos of her which are cut off just above her mouth or with most of her face hidden by props or hats.
