Thanks again to Eaglez1 for allowing me to watch this concert via Zaiko!

I cannot wait to watch this entire concert...

It's funny how I sit here, CD's and concert at my fingertips, and I CAN'T WATCH THEM. It's okay though. It's more fun to share the experience with all of you, vs doing it alone.

I cannot wait to hear what you all have to say!

The live show was amazing..scooop is amazing ..still waiting on the tour dates 🤘🏻🫶🏼🤘🏻😅 searing by the way is a intro song if you listen to it and yes I got a dilly dally pick ..there was a pick for each song plus a secret pick from what I heard

Nomad1991

Last year’s final show was 3 hours they have MC during it

Wayne B

The live show to end the year was a perfect present to the Maidiac's! They did all the songs off Scooooop! Really hope the release a Official MV for Lock and Load and Dilly, Dally soon!

Wayne B

It was fun to see you in the live chat for Rolling Quartz yesterday! I love their new song, "Masquerade"!

David Cousins

I watched the stream live, an amazing show. Saiki was on fire the entire show, and she didn't let up. This was the tour finale, a sold-out tour btw. When they announced the tour for 2026, after my excitement I thought of you and was hoping you would dive into Scooooop and other newer releases - this is Band Maid now. You haven't reacted to Shambles or Ready to Rock live videos yet. The Blu-Ray that came with Scooooop is white room instrumentals, looking forward to you diving in. Also the song searing, I believe is something to be used for show openers - someone correct me if I'm mistaken. Lastly, I'm going to guess you have the show on your hard drive - if not the stream availability ends real soon. Here is hoping you get to be right up front for your first show. PS - saw you pop up during the Rolling Quartz live.

Wayne B

Front row at a Band-Maid show is second to none! Guilty pleasurer, I been there four times, so far! Got a Miku pic in Denver! Well worth the VIP money! Will you be a part of the "Dawn Patrol" that SJ Nix started?

Drive Time

Searing is what was played as entrance music for this show.

Vlad the Maidiac

I don't know when you've got your disc. The deadline for application for a lottery was December 20. so, you missed it. You would have a chance to win either a signed poster, or a special T-shirt.

Bill Whitaker

At around 24:08 of your video, slow down the video speed. Notice Kanami's guitar amp. Daisuke Kondo (her guitar tech) replaced the Bogner logo on her amp with KANAMI.

Juan San

This was an excellent streaming concert. A very complete (and modern) setlist with 24 songs; they played all of SCOOOOOP and even eight songs from Epic Narratives. It has epic moments that will melt your face and other endearing ones that will melt your heart. The girls always give it their all, but their tour finales are usually special. On the DVD, you'll find the white room instrumental versions of Zen, What is Justice, and Ready to Rock. You're sure to love them.

Bill Whitaker

There is a pick for each song on the EP. I bought 2 copies of SCOOOOOP (1 for home and 1 for the car). I got a ZEN and a What Is Justice? pick. I can't wait until you react to Sion. I think Sion be competing with Daydreaming for your favorite Band-Maid song.

William Hallisey

I got a Dilly Dally pick as well. It's permanently on my keychain.

NittPicc Reacts

I think I’m going to put mine in my flute case for good luck. 🥰

William Hallisey

Band-Maid shows are usually all 2 -2 1/2 hours long.

That whole show was great, even the MC and magic spell time - they spent time goofing off and being funny. Poor Saiki, she was on fire the whole show, a 2 hour fiery performance, and I think she probably got too tired but even with the flat notes at the end, this was about the only time during the whole concert that she had pitch issues, but on the plus side, you know this is a live recording and there is no pitch correction/auto-tune - they are amazing and bucking the trend of what a lot of western artists do - tune live vocals (the YT channel - Wings of Pegasus - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m7yjRO_7Ktg - has been on a years long battle against this trend). Overall, this was probably about the only time that Saiki struggled. As to Saiki's voice, she said in a recent interview that she still works with a vocal coach every week and also when recording she has a vocal coach working with her. She also talked about what she does during concerts (this was probably six months ago - found it on the reddit r/bandmaid group). When I was in band in school (baritone), after a long concert all the brass players had trouble keeping our embouchure, so can understand the stress a long concert has on the human body, especially the voice.

For the last couple of US tours they had three ticket classes: GA, VIP, and Ultra VIP. UVIPs get in first and if you want a spot at the rail that's what you're gonna have to get - and even then you might plan to line up a few hours early and skip the merch booth on the way in. Those tickets were about $300 (yikes). The folks who regularly attend Band-Maid concerts use an unofficial numbering system so you don't actually have to stand in line; when you show up, the person in front of you should have a Sharpie so that you can number your hand, and then when someone arrives behind you, you can give them the Sharpie and go take off for a bit. Or sometimes they have folks who just kinda patrol the line and number new people as they arrive. VIP gets in after UVIP and those tickets got you about 5-10 rows back. So still a good spot, but definitely not right at the front. Those were about $70-80. GA pretty much guarantees you'll be back in the crowd but they're cheap - $30 or so. Some venues have seated balconies or whatever. Still cheap tix, maybe you can get an unobstructed view (and a seat!), but it's still a long way from the stage :( They're still working with Live Nation so I assume it'll work the same this time, although if the prices change I can guarantee they only change in one direction... As far as buying tickets, they sell FAST so find out when they become available and camp on the ticket site. Actually, if I remember right, they open sales to fan club members early? Either way, still camp.

NittPicc Reacts

Thank you! This is very helpful. I’ve been saving for BAND-MAID since I realized my loved for them so I am ready to drop the money to see them at ALL COSTS. 😭😭😭

Charles Coleman

Yes, NittPicc, what Chris said is correct. If you want to get on the rail, follow those directions. But make sure you get to the venue as early as you can. But once you get your number, you don't have to hang around for 12 hours standing in line. What most of us do is get there early, get our numbers, hang out for a while and chat with our fellow Maidiacs - which is so much fun! - then head back to the hotel, get some lunch, maybe a nap and then head back in plenty of time to line up by numbers. When You show up to get your number, they will probably let you know when doors open and when you need to be back. Also, if you want to get front row, make that your priority, you can always get merch after the show. Also, During Omajinai Time, make sure when Miku says Moe! Moe! - you say Moe! Moe! She will scold you for not participating, LOL! Just do what the Pigeon says and no one gets hurt!! 🤣🤣🕊️🕊️

Charles Coleman

As someone mentioned, NittPicc, check with SJ Nix about Dawn patrol. He can give you even better info on getting that rail spot~!

Charles Coleman

I got Super Sunshine pick! Which is the one I wanted. YAY!!!

PGCSubZero

After a show Saiki will ice her throat and she uses loquat syrup during and after as well. I imagine she probably drinks teas as well.

Glenner7

My pick is Ready to Rock. I also had to wait so long for this one - I usually order from CD Japan and select DHL for shipping, but this time for some reason I ordered from Pony Canyon and I must have selected post office. I pre-ordered in June, but it didn't come at release time due to a strike at Canada Post. I got tired of waiting after almost a month, so I ordered another copy from CD Japan and they both arrived ON THE SAME DAY.

Drive Time

If you want access to artist pre-sale tickets, you'll want to join the fan club (O-MEI-SYU SAMA). It's $3.51/month at the current exchange rate (exactly half of the price of BAND-MAID Prime). You can pay for a year in advance for $38.61 (12 months for the price of 11). If you want up front, you'll have to buy a VIP (or UVIP if they offer it) and get in line early. If you're OK with being in the first 6-10 rows. You can buy a VIP and show up just before doors open. Most venues have some kind of venue VIP that may offer reserved seating (often a balcony), food, etc. This varies wildly by venue. You only need to purchase a standard ticket for these, but the venue will obviously charge based on whatever amenities they provide. It's impossible to know what the ticket demand will be. If they do a tour similar to 2022 (which I suspect they will hit many of those same areas) I expect most shows to sell out, but generally they don't sell out fast. Chicago and LA sold out quickest in that tour. Dallas sold out but there was definitely plenty of time to get tickets. Houston actually sold a little slower than most places and Austin (2023) was kind of similar. The VIP tickets sold out pretty much everywhere (in '22) I think and generally faster than GA. But if they throw a curveball in there like meet and greets or something, I have no idea what would happen. I think their growth in the US has been modest since then, but I hope I'm wrong and it's significantly more than I think. If so, it could be crazy if they play similar size venues. I think the days of them playing in front of 500-600 (Phoenix, Charlotte '23) are over. So far, they've only played one US venue with all assigned seating (Spokane '23).

Drive Time

One comment about the sound is that you're watching (and hearing) the raw livestream. The Blu-ray will be mixed much better. The stream sound was pretty typical for a stream. Pretty good but not perfect. I'm always impressed with the video direction in the livestreams. Whoever directs the streams knows BAND-MAID music inside and out. You only have to watch the Lollapalooza livestream to know how badly that can go if the director is clueless about the band.

NittPicc Reacts

Then I’m gonna make sure I have that fan club membership! Thank you for the info!

NittPicc Reacts

I am very impressed with the video work. The camera angles and lighting and the whole production is insanely good. Hopefully I’ll get to hear the mixed version!

Randy Hammill

Such an incredible show. This setlist (and a lot of the Scooooop EP) pushes Saiki to the top of her range pretty relentlessly. In the past she would have had Miku do those belts, but she has done them more in the past year (like the one in Ready to Rock, which is part of the backing track live). So I’m not surprised her voice was tired at the end of the show. I do wonder if the monitoring was a bit off too, because she’s a touch flat for quite a bit of the song. The performance is killer of course, so it doesn’t detract from it (and was probably less evident in person). It’s a raw and emotional performance. This is a really hard song to end the show with vocally too. It does highlight that they are truly live, although I suspect they will adjust it a bit for the actual release. I don’t particularly care myself, but there are plenty who do. She and Miku both take loquat syrup during their performances, and ice their throat afterwards. You can see that in photos. She also does a lot of fitness training in general to provide support. She still works with their vocal coach regularly, who is also usually present when she and Miku record their vocals. Yes, there is a key change in Present Perfect. The intro, chorus, and bridge/solos are in a different key than the instrumental hook and verse. Way back when they wrote the song Start Over, Kanami specifically wrote a song with a simpler melody because apparently people were telling them Band-Maid songs were hard to sing at Karaoke. Also, I think the complexity of the melody of Alone is one of the things that really makes it stand above the rest of the songs on Brand New Maid. It’s part of what really sets apart a lot of Kanami’s melodies in my opinion. Kanami also likes to push Saiki and Miku vocally, and that’s definitely the case here. There was a pick for each song, plus one that says Scooooop.

Chris Bergsten

Oh, true - show up early in the morning, get your number, and then you can take off when you want and still get a prime spot. Honestly I'll be surprised if people don't just give NittPicc tickets. All those Band-Maid savings might end up going to airfare and hotels, if she has the time and inclination to fly out to multiple shows... Actually, here's a thought: if they hit Mexico again, that show will probably be bonkers. Big chance The Warning shows up, and I hear Mexico has some of the most enthusiastic crowds.

Drive Time

I think the UVIP were $220 and the VIP were $120 in 2023 before the LiveNation fees. So, add $25-30 for that. I expect something similar with a bit higher price.

Jonas S

I just love that one of the texts on their backdrop says 'Gorilla banana' :D

Vlad the Maidiac

I hope they will release this show on Blu-Ray after a couple of months. They usually do. The beauty of the streams is that you see the entire show, with Omajinai Time and all their shenanigans. On Blu-Ray, they will definitely cut those parts out.

Vlad the Maidiac

I was able to gather seven unique plectrums and two duplicates: SCOOOOOP Present Perfect Ready to Rock What is justice? ×2 Dilly-Dally Zen Lock and Load ×2 Recently a person in the comments under a YouTube video alerted me that the First Pressing version of SCOOOOOP is still available at the AMPED shop (BAND-MAID's own one). So, I went there and ordered one more package. But in order to have full set, I need two picks: SION and SUPER SUNSHINE.

Vlad the Maidiac

It's nothing mysterious. In the States, the system is such that the earlier you go to the venue, the lower will your queue number will be. If you come at 4AM, you may be even Number One.

Vlad the Maidiac

NittPicc, you should not really worry about tickets. There will be a plenty of people who will be overjoyed to offer you the most VIP ticket of all VIP tickets available. Usually the free tickets are flying around before the show, and people who can't attend for some reason, send them to the famous Maidiacs, who distribute them according to the merit of the people standing in line. If there is a girl in Maid dress, it's almost guaranteed somebody will donate a VIP ticket to her. So, even if you don't have enough money, don't despair. Ask SJ Nix or somebody else you know, they will definitely have a ticket for you.

Eaglez1

Nittpicc I highly doubt you'll need to worry about getting on the rail. Someone (s) will make sure your up there. Sing NittPicc sing. If you love it...do it. You have a great voice

THIS WAS the PERFECT end to my evening I went to the after party more buzzed than I have EVER been.
