It's funny to watch Jinshi "de-Jinshi" himself to look more like a commoner. It was also so cute that he was doting on Maomao on the way over to the courtesan building that Jinshi was interested in checking out.

Maomao also looked so beautiful. I love that no matter how dolled up she is, she is herself. It makes me feel good about being the kind of lady I am because honestly...I be like that too!

The final conversation they had about what would lower the value of the courtesan make me feel bad for the courtesans.

Anyway...your thoughts?

Just about Jinshi, remember that Maomao had some theory about him before gaslighting herself as usual (she do this in this episode too when she recognizes that he might practice swordsmanship). So I don't think Jinshi could be the son of a courtesane. Maomao on the other hand grew in a brothel, so that would be logical ^^. Not really into cosplay myself even if I can appreciate beautiful cosplay, I cosplayed some times, either as Eric Draven from the 1994 The Crow (my all time fav movie) and as Fuuko, she is the main character from Undead Unluck (anime/manga). I have absolutely no talent in sewing and with my hands except drawing, so making cosplay would be a pain in the butt for me lol.

NittPicc i won't spoil since i already know the story. Just re-listen the last conversation between Jinshi and Maomao carefully: i think you missed some information there.. Anyway next episode will clear some facts..
