Please don't be mad at me...

I watched the instrumental...

...and then I watched every. Single. Pull. Angle.

This is how I learn. I like to learn by watching and then doing. This instrumental DVD is going to be too much fun to go through!

It was such a good idea to start off the concert with "Ready to Rock." The title says it all.

Also, if you haven't and if you have any interest in checking it out, feel free to check out my reaction to "Rock is a Ladies Modesty." It's a fun and absolutely chaotic anime, but so much fun to watch! If you want to watch it with a friend...I'm here!

The white room instrumentals are great and fun to watch, and no I did not mind you watching all the pull angles. I'm wondering if you noticed the slight differences with this performance and the one from the OLV, this being the show opener and the OLV was a show closer. A few more things, if you did not know all the songs from Scooooop are performed at the TGT show. I'm looking forward to you listening to Sion. Lastly when you get to Lock and Load during this show, do yourself a favor and let it play through the next song. Have fun with the bass and guitar playing.

This is what it sounds like for real- no post production, and still fabulous.

That’s smart that they added the angels version ..there’s also Zen and what is justice, white room if I remember correctly 🤘🏻🫶🏼🤘🏻also what you hear in the beginning is the song searing its a intro track

Juan San

I love that you watched ALL the instruments. The white rooms have existed since Conqueror, and there have been sheet music records since Brand New Maid, Prime videos, you know...; that generosity in sharing your music down to the smallest detail demonstrates a truly remarkable desire to teach. I believe that a true teacher lies beneath everything else in Kanami. BTW: the riff of the third guitar is my favourite actually.

I'm always amazed at these White Room performances! All the members, but especially Akane, seem to be sped up because they can't really be that fast, but they are! What a frikin band!

Wayne B

The individual full song versions are indeed a great way to see exactly they are doing and learn from. I'm sure that is Kanami's intent!

Wayne B

Yep, practice, practice, practice!

Never going to complain about more Band-Maid! It is a rare opportunity to see each musician do their part during an awesome song! I would bet no one will complain!

Maybe start where we first feel in love with Band-Maid, "Thrill", or at least that era of the Maid's, as MISA was playing the four-string bass. Maybe? A good challenge wherever you start with MISA!

Juan San

According to MISA, the easiest song to start with on bass is Don't You Tell Me

Chris Bergsten

Historically Band-Maid has traveled light, mostly just their instruments and they rent almost everything else. Lighting will probably just be whatever the venue has. But they do at least program the lights to give you a bit of a show. If you want the full package, you'll have to see them in Japan. But if we're being honest... arena shows are epic but you can't beat the intimacy of a small venue.

Every "white room" video by Band-Maid is a treat! During their late summer tour in Japan, they closed the shows with "Ready To Rock". It literally brought the house every time. I know, I was there.

The company that makes Kanami's amp (either Bogner or Marshall) should develop (and market) a custom Kanami amplifier. I bet they'll sell a few!

Start with Thrill.

Nomad1991

That kanami logo on her amp was done by one there guitar technician people 🤘🏻

Vlad the Maidiac

Daisuke Kondo is his name. He is also the one who introduced Kanami to PRS guitars. You can see her playing his guitar in "Don't you tell ME" and "Choose me" MVs. Also, that Charcoal Burst model in the Official Live Video of DOMINATION from 2020 Line Cube Shibuya OKYUJI. A few of his photos Kanami keeps on her pedalboard.

William Hallisey

I was aware that Daisuke had here name printed and put on her amp as a sweet tribute. What I'm saying is that Bogner, Marshall, or even PRS recognize Kanami's skills and technical expertise and work with to creative a custom amp that will enhance her musical creativity, let her utilize it, give the company feedback on it, make any necessary adjustments (like a know that turns up to 11 or 12 on the volume. LOL, just a joke) and then market it.

"How much are you gonna hate me if I watch every single one of these?" On the contrary, I'd be disappointed if you DIDN'T!

The NittPicc little engine, “I think I can, I think I can.” I believe she’ll succeed. “Just say’n”

NittPicc Reacts

My little engine that “can.” Someday. If I didn’t need sleep, I would accomplish everything I want to do! Sleeping is such a waste of my time! 😂 Thank you for believing in me!

One thing about Band-Maid that is different from a lot of rock musicians is they have really studied and practiced their technique. They all have very economic techniques. Relaxed and without a lot of extraneous movements. Although some of Kobato’s guitar parts, even in this song, appear relatively simple bar chord patterns, they are tough to play cleanly at these tempos. A lot of movement, slides, etc. However, there are also some quite challenging parts for her here as well. Kobato’s right hand technique in particular is very, very good. Kanami has said that Miku is better at palm muting. Another thing that is very noticeable, and unusual for a lot of rock musicians, is that they all give notes their proper duration. It’s very common for notes to be rushed cut off early, etc.

The SE (opening track) “Searing” is the bonus CD that came with preorders of SCOOOOOP. The SEs are apparently usually recorded by Kanami and Misa, and they program the synths and drums.
