I admire Shoyo's love of the game, but unfortunately you have to have a team that knows what they are doing and how to play the game.

It seems that Shoyo's love of the game is there, but he needs to train physically to understand the game more!

...also, I wonder what is going to happen now that he is going to high school with the rival player he lost to in junior high...

Nittpicc... you picked one of my favorites here..... I know you'll love it! Actually Haikyu and Slam Dunk are my favorite sport anime in the last years: note aside, those are also two of Akane's favorites too!!

Yup, that's Shoyo for you. He's a big orange ball of energy, enthusiasm, and desire to win. But he's got a lot of room to grow! That's what I loved about this anime when I watched it. Seeing all the characters grow as players and come together as a team is really satisfying to watch! I think the reveal at the end of the first episode really hooked me. To create such an intense rivalry between two players and then put them on the same team is such a great narrative choice! Personally, I was on Swim Team for about 9 years, first with a local club team, and then for my first two years of college. Thanks for taking my suggestion! The opening theme I sent along with this is from the 2nd half of the 2nd season, so it'll be a while. The other themes are all great as well though!
