About the blue roses, an interesting thing that I learned in a sort of documentary about one of the greatest singer of our time, Ado, is that she choose the blue rose as a symbol because its meaning gone from "impossible" to "realised dream" since a first blue rose was created in 2004 in japan after 13 yers of research. So yes, blue roses don't exist naturally, but they do exist in real life now. Lihaku has always being compared to a dog by Maomao, and him being the archetype of the labrador boyfriend doesn't help the comparaison lol.
