I'm still absolutely in love with this show! Although...I did have a student texting me during it, so I might have been a tad distracted.

Rue might be as bad as I though she might be but Fakir is waaaaaay to suspicious with how he is acting. It seems like he doesn't want Ahiru or anyone to give Mytho a chance to gain his heart shards back.

I loved this episode with it's ties to the ballet "Giselle." This is a pretty good representation of the ballet. It now makes me realize that there are movies based on this ballet.

The music is gold...the story is great. The character development? YES PLEASE!

The music, the singing, the imagery really do make this anime an incredible fairytale!

One small note. Tim Burton's movie "The Corpse Bride" certainly has elements in common with Giselle, but it was based off of a story from Jewish folklore. From what I know, there are several versions of the Jewish story, since murdering Jewish brides was a common a form of violence against Jewish communities, especially in the Pale of Settlement in western Russia. Just wanted to give credit where credit is due and make it easier for others to learn more about the origins of the story.
