Lady Shin was jealous of Lady Lihua. It makes more sense now with all the the terrible things that happened over by the Crystal Pavilion.

The skin powder from season 1? Lady Shin.

The negligent ladies-in-waiting? Lady Shin.

The perfumes? LADY SHIN!

She was her cousin! Jealous that Lady Lihua was favored over Shin because of the the Emperor's taste. Maomao did a great job telling Shin off. This was a great episode!

Lihua is in the slap count lead so far: - Lihua: 2 - MaoMao: 1 - Maomao has been slapped: 1 (2 if you count the guard's baton/club)

Lihua was ready to throw punches at Shin...HA HA. Go girl!!. The next episode is one of the most important of the season because of the the amount of lore of this Kingdom and future of the story. Be ready.

You had the good lady, Lihua was the one who lost her baby because of the powder and was very sick, but remember, it was the emperor that sent Maomao take care of Lihua, so he might already know from back then that she do drugs. I love this episode because it's show a new face to lady Lihua, well, almost a new face, because it's show mostly her kindness, even toward Shin since by slaping, fired and baning her, she savec her life since Shin would have been sentenced to death if the truth about her wanting to kill Lihua and the emperor's baby was public. But just seeing her raising her fist make her badass in my book, we don't except her to do it but that is very fun to see ^^.

The Emperor already knows about Maomao. He's just thinking to use her to solve a problem so next episode will be fun...
