I loved this episode. It took me back to a time when I used to hang out with my band friends. That group of friends would spend countless hours at school in the band hall practicing and talking about contests and concerts we had coming up. Most of the time our director would still be there working in his office, and sometimes when it was time to leave he would invite us to go eat at Chick-fil-a as a big group.

His stories about past students and ensembles he had taught felt like glimpses into his life that seemed so...cool? I can hear him laughing right now typing this out because he would tell us hilarious stories and then say how much he loved making musical memories with all his students.

This was a great time with him and my high school friends. I rarely think about these times, but when I am taken back, I can't help but smile...
