Brittany has the last name "Slayes" for a reason!

She absolutely slayed this track with her vocal range from her lowest note to the highest note. On top of that, her ability to add some grit in her tone was incredible to listen to!

Of course the others killed it as well. I just had to highlight our girl!

Brittney's voice is insanely impressive. She's said that when she's at her best her range is a full 4 octaves! She was classically trained as a choir singer, so I bet that's where a lot of her skills in controlling her voice comes from. And you totally nailed her influences. Her singing in Unleash the Archers is inspired a lot by classic 80s metal vocalists like Geoff Tate from Queensryche, Bruce Dickinson from Iron Maiden, and Ronnie James Dio.

It's been a hot minute since I've listened to UtA. There was a period of about a year where they absolutely dominated my listening time. I was completely transfixed by their music. I've since moved on, but I definitely need to wade back in to listen to them more. Their song/video to Cleanse the Bloodlines was what initially made me a fan. It's epic. Their albums Apex followed by Abyss are a sprawling fantasy story that definitely need to be experienced in their entirety at least once in your lifetime.

I'd love to see those 3 bands on the channel.

I know you've covered 'Archers' on the channel before, and I know I have heard them once or twice in other places, but I don't remember the vocals sounding like that. Holy cow... amazing. Great arrangement creating layers and harmonies with both the guitars and vocals as well. S-tier musicianship. When she's up at the top of her highest register, I'm not sure that she's intentionally 'adding' grit to her vocals, or if it's just the natural result/byproduct of the strain it takes to reach those notes.
