I’ve had a lazy week. All the things I wanted to get done didn’t happen because I came home after teaching, ate dinner and crashed. I had some low energy this week, so I am looking forward to energetic reactions this week!

🎀BAND-MAID Sunday:

When I see the word “Azure” I think of a poem I read as a kid about the Chinese dragon of the East. The dragon is supposed to symbolize growth and renewal. I have mentioned a lot lately that I have really enjoyed diving a little deeper into the lyrics of BAND-MAID’s music because there is a lot of beauty within them! I am excited to check out a new song!

🔹Couch - “Big Talk” full album review!

I haven’t done a full album review before. I’m actually a little nervous about this because it’s a long time to stay focused on the music and speak on it, but why not take on a new challenge? I have listened to “What Were You Thinking” and I couldn’t help but dance in my seat! I want to hear what Couch brings in their most recent album!

🔹Mai Otome - “Hoshi ga Kanaderu Monogatari”

Mai-Otome is a spinoff anime series of Mai-HiME that takes place in the distance future and follows Arika Yumemiya who’s in search of her mother on the planet Earl. From what I understand this song is a lullaby known only by the princess of the kingdom, but the princess was kidnapped and there is doubt if the current princess on the throne is the real one. Three main characters sing phrases of this lullaby, making the audience question who’s the real princess! I am excited to hear this lullaby knowing this information!

🔹BAND-MAID - “Azure” December 13, 2020 online Okyu-ji

I haven’t seen the online Okyu-ji in a hot minute so I am excited to see this show again. I heard that this song can be seen performed on “Medium in Summer” show that they did, but since I cannot find that on BM Prime I’ll stick with this one!

I’m so serious about absolutely crashing when I got home everyday this week. I had some plants that I need to repot, some dishes to get to. I wanted to maybe play a video game or 2 but I chose to sleep. Does this ever happen to you? What do you do when you feel unbelievably tired? What do you do when you’re tired but you don’t want to sleep?
