I really enjoyed the album version, but it was nice that I was able to hear both guitar parts clearly in this live performance.

Also...I may have watched a little something extra at the end...I HAD TO!

Talk about complimenting MISA, NittPicc, of you haven't watched any fan-cam footage of Band-Maid's London Brixton show, you should. MISA and Akane did a bass/drums intro to Toi et Moi that is mind-blowing! It is one of the coolest, funkiest intros EVER!!!!! If you want to learn bass, that will be the best instrumental to learn!

This mochi smashing episode is hilarious. They had to break out the BIG club for the Gorilla!

I left this comment on the YouTube Azure video, but I'll leave it here too... As an aside... Since you mentioned Yamamoto Linda, The Blue Hearts' song Linda Linda was written about (for?) her. Komoto Hiroto, the lead singer had a crush on Yamamoto Linda growing up and wrote what I think is the greatest punk love song ever about his feelings. I actually recommend doing a reaction to their video. In the 80s-90s, The Blue Hearts were pretty influential on the Japanese Music scene, so that's another rabbit hole to follow. They are referenced a lot in Japanese media and Linda Linda pops up all over the place. That's the song the street performer was singing in episode 1 of Rock is a Lady's Modesty Official video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RYC71PAuIKE Lyric video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YNj8m41EZto

This has been an excellent analysis of Azure, one of those deep tracks that don't usually get much attention but that you find with affection in the playlist. In my opinion, Conqueror proved divisive because it came after World Domination, the flagship album that attracted many new fans of the band between 2018 and 2020. I suspect that the shift from classic rock to the new concept of music that was much more elaborate, complex, and without predefined styles caught many off guard. I think that as an album, along with Epic Narratives, it's a better-planned, more varied construct, and above all, more consistent with the band's original idea of showcasing their growth and self-challenge in each of their works (of increasing musical complexity to date). But I believe this is a minority opinion. BTW: although I consider them their best albums, Conqueror and EN contain some of the few songs by the band that I like the least, one thing does not take away from the other.

Fast cultural references... Sake means alcohol so beer and I'm gonna guess Miku and Akane are having shochu sours, are just referred to as sake. The crowd is yelling Yoisho! basically cheering them on.

In the "dinner" shot were MISA is talking, Miku looks hammered (and not just when she's literally hammering) - look at her facial expressions! She reminds me of MISA in the Secret Maiko Lips MV and BTS. And hey, "peace out"...

That last video was so awesome! The Maid's show so much friendship and sisterhood without fear!
