This episode was chaotic and for a good reason.

"Maigo"

It all makes so much more sense now! It means "lost girl."

I love that. I had no idea that MyGO was going to have meaning. I was wondering when the band name was going to come!

Since i have a feline character, i relate more to Rana... ;)

Home Gnome

This was a great episode - where they all seemingly felt they could say say a bit more about what they really thought - like they felt close enough to be more honest and that helped them come closer together

p.s. Ave Mujica - Yes!!! I don't know the anime yet, but I love the band - so it's gonna be so good to experience that with you 💖

Excited for you to delve into Ave Mujica. But also excited for you to see the final 2 episodes, as they are pretty fun ones. :3

Kawaii Sock Puppet

In terms of the band name - the "ai" sound in Japanese can be confused by English readers between May and My, so I guess they did it with the Y to make it clear? So Mai in Japanese is My in English and Mei in Japanese is May in English (hopefully no proper Japanese speaker comes along to correct me 🤣🙏)

I mean ur idea about pronunciation is right but as for why they called it mygo will be in the next episode

Kawaii Sock Puppet

Good to know - I've not seen the anime before so enjoying watching and learning with NP and the community 👍

I think Soyo feels a sense of shame mixed with confusion. Because she lives her life 'playing the character' that is the always-happy person she portrays. I don't think she knows *how* to be herself and it scares her.

Miku from Band-Maid does these kinds of puns in her lyrics a lot. The most famous is in the song Influencer, when Saiki says "chit-chat", it was Miku making a pun from "Chi-Cha".
