I freakin' love baseball. Period. I wouldn't say no if I was asked to go to every ball game in a year.

This episode scratched an itch for me that I didn't know I needed!

The principal saying that the E class exploiting the baseball club's weakness was odd to me. I feel like the point of playing sports is for a player to do their best to be great at as many aspects of the sport so that you cannot do exactly what the E class did. Look at Shohei Ohtani for example. I'm sure he still has some weaknesses, but he's a very strong player so his window for error is a tad smaller.

Anyway...I love me the good sportsmanship at the end. That is what I love to see!

This stadium's infield is very reminiscent of Kenshin Stadium, the homefield of Saiki Atsumi's beloved Hanshin Tigers and the permanent host field of the Japan High School Championships every year. The infield consists totally of black sand with no grass. The winners of each division get to take home a small bag of the infield sand as a keepsake. The division championship are always sold out and televised by NHK throughout Japan. When I visited Japan last August, I watched then games on TV. They are probably happening right now.
