Oh boy...

So we are gonna just side step Mutsumi's mental health as a band? She caved on stage and Sakiko improvised dialogue to save the performance. While this is pretty cool, I feel like we are downplaying Mutsumi's mental health here.

Seeing Mutsumi enter a place where we see a one woman show about herself as Mortis was where I felt like shit hit the fan. These hallucinations show Mutsumi's struggles with who she is because of her famous parents. Top it all off, Mutsumi seems to blame herself for Sakiko being sad about CRYCHIC breaking up.

Still not a fan Nyamu...

But the moment her little persona took a complete hold of her in what I would consider a psychotic break...NOW the shit really hit the fan!

The way you're feeling about Sakiko, like cannot really give sympathy for her, is the exact same wayI felt a year or so ago when it aired. The thing with Sakiko and Mutsumi I feel, is they are in a weird codependent kind of relationship but they haven't really been talking as of late. And that just made things compound. Fun fact all the characters in the mini drama inside Mutsumi's head were voiced by her VA, iirc they are 13 characters or somethin. The new persona, you can just call her Mortis. Another trivia is Nyamu's neighbor LAYER is part of a different band within Bang Dream called Raise A Suilen. Would love for you to see them perform coz they are a fun band. LAYER and Nyamu goes to the same school and I guess that is kind of their dorm.

You'll definitely know what to call Mutsumi next episode, but there's a lot more drama to come! Good call last episode about Mutsumi finding something that was just her own and not from her parents - but of course then feeling like she's a failure at it makes it even more distressing. And you kept saying she was gonna break, but I don't think you really expected it to happen like that!

It's just her luck that she finds the one thing that she can call her own, but that discovery also comes with the worlds worst case of imposter syndrome ever. Just can't win.
