I...am not exactly sure is happening right away in the beginning of this anime, but it's off to the races with this one!

So much happened in the beginning of the episode that I had to take a moment to process the information.

I LOVE Dela. He's regal. He's sassy. He's a cutie! But buddy...lay off the mochi!

YAY its my pick! Despite this being one of my favorite ever shows and my recommendation...i also have not eaten mochi before. sad! Even more than k-on (as i mentioned in my reccomendation, this is pretty much made by the same exact people who made k-on, almost right after that finished airing, and you can totally tell. The leg thing that you mentioned is such a clear signifier for this lol), this is such a lovely and comforting show for me. Love to put this on every year around valentines day specifically. Especially the movie that serves as the finale, which I am SO excited for. Special attention goes to the soundtrack. Its quite a minimal soundtrack, and the same songs play a good bit, but the songs themselves are suuper melodic and bright and whimsical. Has a ton of character and it helps this show stick in my mind even more
