I have to say at first I (love) hate how this show leaves me clinging on for the next thing...It always ends right when I feel like it's getting good while it's already GOOD!

I was so worried for Edel when I saw what happened to her.

...and of course Fern thinks she can handle Frieren. I can't wait to see what happens next!!

The way Fern was jealous of Methode touching Frieren is super cute..... This is my Frieren, don't you dare to touch her...HA HA HA. Evan Call flexing with the soundtrack as usual. The song where Wirbel and company is figthing their replicas is called "Dragon Smasher".

Four eyes ability is making clones. Remember back in the first test he used one. The clones made by the dungeon are diffrent types of clones.

Just something i want to point out, another full circle in a way. In the last episode, Fern said she continue to search for magic and goes on adventure because she like seeing Frieren happy. In this episode, after discovering the mural, Frieren isn't necessary happy with it (she wanted a grimoire), but seeing Fern happy to see it, make her happy too. They both enjoy their adventure, because they're together and through the other, after so many years, that understandable, but also very telling of their relationship. Also, Fern jealous that Methode hugged Frieren and being possessive like that, is kind of adorable, but i bet Sein would have loved to be in Frieren's shoes lol. Now, let's wait one week to see what Fern have in her bag to "kill" Frieren ^^ (well, you wait, me, i already know hehe).

I love purple colour, so i am close to buy Fern miniature. But you need whole team :) and that investment ma be too much for me. well, she like to think about hersels as pacifist, like she is different than other first class mages.

Sense is being a pacifist in that her test would be easiest if all the mages worked together as Denken suggested last episode before even knowing about the replicas, she doesn't like conflict amongst the sentient non-demonic/monster races and is philosophically opposed to 'senseless' war/unprovoked violence (unintentional pun, her name is actually the German for Scythe, hence her clone's hair being used like a sharp weapon). But that doesn't necessarily means she can adopt pacifism to an absolute degree and she exclusively follows principles of non-violence. Within a world with demons & monsters that can't truly be negotiated with (per the earlier story arc) I think she's likely more of a conditional pacifist, where she would only use violent action for the defense of herself or others.

The statement about the group of three mages not suited for battle, is more about that their abilities (and modern mages in general) is not suited for dungeon combat. But the almost every iteration of the tests are different depending on the proctor,so they have no way of predicting what kind of test it would be, only the passing rate of the respective proctors. The skills of the participants who made it to the second stage are different, to a certain extent, hence why Denken's proposal to work together is the most effective way to clear the dungeon.
