I admire Kinga and I also envy her!

She's been playing for a long time so I shouldn't beat myself up too much, but still. It's been 3 months since the last time I've touched the bass and I need to get back into the swing of it again!

She has a great stage presence and her playing is phenomenal. I love that she takes a small moment to solo and allows other members of her band to take the spotlight while she "walks her bass." This was good stuff!

I'm so sorry NittPicc. I never meant to make you feel inadequate or like you could not do something. I think you have seen me write it before but we don't give you music because we expect you to be an expert in everything. Sometimes, like the Bowling for Soup song you did, we just want to see our favorite songs bring you joy ... and that's enough. Now I know that sometimes, you do purposefully skip over stuff ... so that's okay. Just know from our side we are not expecting some sort of expert analysis of any given instrument. Your knowledge of "just music" makes it fun - I always learn something when I visit your reactions. On to Kinga ... I think all of Kinga's music lacks vocals ... but doesn't lack anything ;) . I thought you'd enjoy seeing her play and the jazz funk aspect of what she does. Se has played shows with full orchestras backing her ... but she will also play in some random room in her house ... I find her to be very humble and she shares a LOT in terms of tabs, walkthroughs, and instructional videos. I know you will "get this" too ... there is a cover she does that makes me cry ... every time. It is Tears In Heaven - the version played by Eric Clapton/Jeff Berlin. I found another musician who played in on bass ... it just fell flat and was truly boring ... clearly just playing the notes off a sheet. There is a difference between just playing the notes and actually playing MUSIC like Kinga did. Her version has nearly 4 million views. She doesn't actually play the entire piece, only 2:22 long and somehow she got so many requests from fans she does a 3 part tutorial on how she played it starting by playing really slowly and providing tabs. I always try to change things up to give you a variety of things to listen to, and others help a lot. I think you are truthful when you say you enjoy "all types of music" and I don't think people are reluctant ... to give you anything really. A testament to your easy going and insightful reaction style.
