This was not the episode to watch after a long day of work after a holiday.

This episode sent me into a mini anger episode. I only have one episode to let this one go but Yuu REALLY got me this episode...

Anyway...I understand what our Pilsbury dough weasel is but at the same time it feels like it's some sort a miniature....god?

Your reaction to Yuu's maniacal laughter is entirely understandable, the same as Chi's response of punching her to snap her out of it and then telling her off. Throughout the series, whilst it's been shown that Yuu isn't in any way an intrinsically bad person, she also has destructive tendencies, can be reckless and has terrible impulse control, often not a great combo. A lot of the time the more careful Chi is also kinda functioning as her conscience. Aside from it being an opportunity for the animators to show off, I think it was also meant as an allegory for the violent tendencies of humanity as a species, with the little dude commenting that humans are scary and a teaching moment from Chi trying to get Yuu to understand having responsibility for her actions better (though lessons sink in slowly with Yuu). In terms of the odds of Yuu having actually killed someone with either the missile, beam weapon or the resulting fire & additional secondary explosions; I would say that it's very low given how few other people they have encountered. They've been constantly traveling, including a large distance covered on the train and we've only seen two other humans (who were far away on different floors/levels of the megacity) over the entire series which is at least a period of several months. It doesn't make her actions any more acceptable, but also something to bear in mind. Regarding wind turbines for renewable energy, I've spent much of my life living in semi-rural areas and I will often see them on any drive that is a couple of hours or more. I've never found them to be an eyesore (same as solar farms or hydroelectric power plants), particularly given their purpose. Plus in my view even if they're not that aesthetically pleasing to others, they're still massively preferable to fossil fuel power plants with smokestacks pumping out pollution. A submarine that large that's still functioning this long after civilization would need to be running off it's own nuclear reactor, typically those are the subs that can stay at sea indefinitely (outside of supplies for it's crew) and also carry nuclear missiles. Radiation hazard signs would be widely present onboard and it doesn't seem to be damaged or falling apart.
