I couldn't believe my eyes (and ears) when I read that these musicians WERE KIDS when they recorded this. Literal CHILDREN!!!

I love seeing this kind of talent. I never knew punk music could be so cute and clean! I love that they have music like this when they have a song called "Racist, Sexist Boy." I already love these girls so much!

I feel awful that it's taken me too long to check them out, but I am glad I made it back to them.

I'm in these babies' corner!

The Linda Linda's are pretty great (been watching them for a couple of years now), they were just at the "Power to the People" festival a couple of weeks ago, put on by Tom Morella (Rage against the machine). Tom works with young musicians from the LA area. His son, Roman (an amazing guitarist), is 15 and has a number of friends that are amazing musicians. One of his friends is an amazing Japanese drummer, Yoyoka, she (moved with her family) to LA about four years ago to help her with her career. She has been playing all over LA now (she just turned 17 a couple of weeks ago. She has a friend, Natalia (16), that she formed a band with, "Late Autumn" with another young girl, Charlotte (16). Natalia has her own band (along with Yoyoka) that plays backyard parties in the LA area and her band is a SKA band. Just a follow up - on the Linda Lindas - when they formed in January 2018, the band members were 8 to 14 years old (8 years ago).

I know this one! I have this song on my phone. They're in between Lil' Troy and Linda Ronstadt. I think they should bill themselves from Loma Linda or Yorba Linda, CA. 😃 I just read they will be opening for The Warning, Feb 5, 2027 in Mexico City.
