I appreciate these little stories before the crew heads out on their next journey. This one was heartwarming in a way reminding us that sometimes it's not just about the journey, but who you spend it with that's most important.

...and of course...poor Frieren. Debt comes for us all, I guess...

Yeah, you’re correct about the little stories. Second season is like the calm before the storm (season 3), even though this is the first episode there were no monsters and/or demons in the second season. Can’t wait for the next week!

Yes, Milliarde is the first troll. 🧌 Not only is there a wanted poster for Frieren but there is one for Eisen as well. Also, do you remember WAY back in season 1 episode 3, the "rough looking" guys in the basement that told Frieren where the best sweets shop was? They had wanted posters as well. Frieren casting the spell to find the silver ore was just one panel in the manga, Madhouse once again flexing.💪

So, maybe i already talked about it, but i'm pretty proud of my ability to recognize voices, i can recognize Aoi Yuki (the voice of Maomao) with only one words or two. In this episode, we have Milliarde, who is voiced by Mamiko Noto. I can tell you with my most honest heart, that when this episode aired, i was able to tell pretty quickly that it was in fact Mamiko Noto and was sure at 97% of that fact even when english website specialised in this kind of info didn't put who voiced the character yet. I said many times that Mai Hime/Mai Otome are my number one anime saga and Mamiko Noto voiced one of the main character in this show, so it is a voice that i know very well (especially since she was the partner of my fav character of the show). But about this episode, it was a pretty fun one, i'm just hyped to see the next one now, knowing what is to come ^^. Also, just for the fun, a "sad Frieren" figure exist, one that represent the scene where she is in rags and ready for the mine, type "Figurine Frieren Working in the Mines for 300 Years" and you should find it.
