A musical about basketba-- hey wait where are you going? (Patreon)

Please come back, please sit down, I (Clara) am not asking you to watch a musical. I would never. I am not a musical theatre person-- to the extent that I fast forwarded songs in Disney movies as a 5-year-old. So I promise you, this post is not the debut of a Secret Base musical. Now, a musical about basketball does exist, and Ryan, Will, and I discuss/try to figure out what the hell is going on, in this very post right here.

The musical is called "Small Ball" and it was funded and produced by 76ers president Daryl Morey. "That's strange," you might be thinking. And I guarantee it is stranger than you could ever imagine. No disrespect to your imagination, if anything I'm respecting your imagination by saying that. Here, I'll prove it: One of the songs in the basketball show is called "Sex with Giants" and, I believe, it's sung at a press conference.

I first learned of Small Ball while researching the Morey vs James Harden beef history. However in that episode I wasn't able to give full due attention to this work of art/fever dream from a patient so sick the doctor is scared and just throws medicine at them from the doorway. But lucky for me, and for you, that's what Patreon is for.
