Tim Duncan, you absolute weirdo (Patreon)

Hi, it's Seth R. Here's today's Big Deal episode (which is sponsored, but you don't have to see that because you're on Patreon)*. It's about Tim Duncan choosing to stay in college all four years, which was an extraordinarily odd thing to do given how good he was at basketball. I knew Duncan could have been the first pick in the 1996 NBA Draft if he entered it, which would have totally changed history, but I hadn't realized before this research that some experts regarded Duncan as the top prospect in the 1995 draft had he jumped to the NBA after his sophomore season. Dude was that obviously a future superstar ... but he really liked school. Dork.

*I'm realizing now I uploaded a cut that still has the "Hey Please Sign Up For Patreon" thing in it. Sorry about that. At least you're not sitting through car ads, right?
