Wilt Chamberlain is known far and wide for being an unstoppable force of nature in the NBA throughout the 1960s. He shot and shot and shot, and scored and scored and scored. Constantly. Non-stop. 100 points in a game. More than 50 points per game in a season. The list goes on and on.And yet. Toward the very twilight of his career, Wilt decided to shake things up. He just ... stopped. He stopped shooting. He stopped scoring. It made no sense. Nothing about the circumstances of himself or his Lakers seemed to suggest any rational reason to become complacent and passive to the most extreme degree possible. So we (Seth, Alex) delved into this bizarre abstinence that flew in the face of everything we've ever known about Wilt -- and the full story, with all the various tentacles springing from it, couldn't be more ludicrous.

Before watching, I should mention that I’d heard it started out as either a contract dispute where he was compared to Bill of the many rings or some kind of press mess where some chinwag claimed Bill was more valuable than Wilt because of the rebounds.

That game where Wilt had 0 shots, looking at that footage... That's a guy who had some bad steak last night and is trying to hide it.

For context, missing out on 10k per player in '73 would be like giving up 75k in 2026.

Seth, I recommend a different LUT on your talking head shot. The shot looks great, just a different color grade would bring it up to the high quality of the rest of the video. Great work.
