Lukestria Family update v0.7 progress (Patreon)

The story and romance progress in this update are going great, with a nice balance between plot and relationships so the main storyline flow stays intact. Guess which one of our girls has her romance route completed this time?

Haha, this week it’s Polina’s turn, our weapon-obsessed maniac. I’m following a three-date pattern: the first one is already in the game and plays out as a mission you do with the girl on your team. The second and third dates are more romantic. Then, depending on your choices, you might get the chance to take things further with them.

I’ve been retesting a few things and making them more intuitive, while also going through the entire story so far for a clean pass. I’ve also completed the first stage of the “Family Gathering” event to end the war, plus added a little extra scene to reveal more about the protagonist’s origin.

Back in Dungeon Explorers, some people felt bad and even gave hate because of the tragedy that happens near the end of the story. So this time, I’m giving you a heads-up right here and now: in LUFA, there will be a tragedy involving one of our girls if you go down her romance route. I’m talking about Cintia. The whole purpose of giving Cintia a romance route is exactly to deliver that gut punch when the tragedy unfolds in the story.You’ve been warned.
