Prayers of Distorted Minds v1 – Update Progress (Patreon)

First of all, good news: I bought a more PC, more powerful! Hell yeah!!Bad news: it arrived with a broken part! Holy cow!! Hahaha. Bad luck, but shit happens. It’s already in for repairs, and by next week it should be working properly. I’ll finally be able to start training and producing higher-quality animations locally! Hell yeah!!

It took almost two years, but it was worth it. And for those who say Steam brings in big bucks, well, it also takes big bucks. From everything we make on Steam, what actually reaches the dev is 49.6%. Yes, exactly: we receive less than half of what we earn there. But this post isn’t about that!

PDM v1 update progress! In this first week back at work, I focused on advancing the MC’s story progression. As a reminder, PDM is not a story-focused game, so don’t expect anything major. I know, I know, me saying this is getting repetitive, but it’s to reinforce expectations: the story here is just a backdrop, full of madness, craziness, and fun. Hahaha.

I’ve already achieved good progress in this event, which I tied together with the gladiator tournament event. Alongside the MC’s story progression, the romance progression with Isabel is moving forward hand in hand.

I’ve also organized some assets that I’ll use for the guild missions. I already have a few planned, and I’ve also finished writing the final part of the romance with Isis. It’s going to be dramatic, but relax, not as dramatic as what happened with Camila in DUEX. That one’s for those who know. Haha.

So, the first week of work was a bit slow due to all the typical beginning-of-the-year responsibilities: paying a bunch of things, fees upon fees, money going out and barely coming in. It’s a hectic month and rough on the wallet, but once everything is organized, the rest of the month becomes much calmer. We keep working here, and soon we’ll have the PDM v1 update!
