MORNING LIGHT by Cindi Curtis
It’s one of those calm Colorado mornings when the light filters through the pines and everything feels still enough to listen. The air outside is crisp and I honestly believe I can feel the winter snows in the air. I’ve got a full workday ahead, and I’m trying to start it with gratitude instead of hurry.
Michael’s been busy reaching out to the new clients I talked to Mom and Dad about on Sunday. I can already see how the conversations are lifting his spirits. It’s exciting to watch something grow from a good idea into something that could really make a difference.
Today at work, I’ve got a couple of meetings and a project that’s been waiting for my full attention, so I’m trying to remind myself to take things one task at a time—trusting that steady effort adds up, even when you can’t see the big picture yet.
Living green tip: As it gets colder, remember that how you heat your home can make a big difference. Lowering the thermostat a few degrees and layering up can save energy and money. But here’s one more idea—try using thermal curtains or adding a door draft stopper. Keeping warmth in and drafts out is one of the simplest ways to reduce waste without giving up comfort.
Today’s devotional thought comes from Romans 8:24–25—“For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what they already have?”
I love that reminder. Faith isn’t certainty—it’s trust while you’re still waiting to see what God is building ahead. That reminder always settles me. I can plan, prepare, and try to see ahead—but faith means trusting the steps that haven’t appeared yet.
Whatever’s in front of you today, trust that your waiting has purpose.
Be your best you!

"Thank You" Message to Paying Supporters:
Thank you very much for your help underwriting the cost of producing AGI Stories content. You can be sure that your paid membership is valued greatly! At the time of this post, not counting hardware, AGI Stories racks up expenses of just at $100 per month.
Patreon members… You are covering a nice portion of that.
I believe most of you who help with the costs are doing so because you want to support the production process and show your encouragement. That means so much to me! I am honored and greatly moved.
While most of the content on AGI Stories is free and much of it is public, the hope is that reserving a few pictures and small sections of the post for you is a modest indication of gratitude!
Again, thank you very, very much.
