Good Morning

My whole morning schedule is off! I should be having coffee wrapped in a bathrobe, but there’s no time for that! We have a full morning ahead—today’s already moving fast!

Today, we’re closing on all the real estate deals. I’m selling my Dad’s Condo to AGI Stories, LLC. Same for the condo Clay, Sasha, Geoni, and Josh own. Dad’s closing on his new place just a couple blocks over on Red Snapper Street.

Between now and then, everyone is hitting the Denny’s for breakfast! That’s a great way to start a day, if you ask me!

But I need to keep moving! Time doesn’t stop for selfies!

I can’t wait to share a picture from the closing meeting! See you then.

Closing

We did it! It actually felt very routine, which I think is the sign of a good closing attorney. They made a big event like this feel like an everyday transaction.

As of now, AGI Stories, LLC owns the entire second floor of the Whiting Street Condos. I still own the third floor. Jason still owns the efficiency unit on the ground floor. (The garages belong to the second-floor units.) And Dad owns the house over on Red Snapper Street.

It really feels like we’ve rearranged things into something far more practical. The remodel plans are going to make a huge difference for the Everetts and the Ryans! And Dad having the second story of the new house pretty much to himself will mean he can relax with a lot more privacy.

So, it’s done! Next up will be getting Dad and Grammy moved. That will have to wait until something like Monday. The AGI crew has a product shoot tomorrow. (The sea salt thing.)

After this, we’re heading back to the island to get everything ready for tomorrow.

I’ll be back tonight, of course! See you then!

See you then!

Good Night

I think we are almost set for tomorrow! That means I’m pretty much done for the day, so I’m going to close out the diary entry with this post.

Jason and I are sitting here going through his camera gear one last time. We’re making sure all the batteries are actually charged… all the lenses are wiped and clean. All that sort of thing.

I know I’ve tried to say that this shoot is just about sea salt, but really, it’s more than the actual deliverable. It’s a test of the process.

All the little details like getting there… Getting the gear there… Wardrobe… Makeup… All the logistics…

We did pretty well on the lotion project, but we learned things that we’re incorporating on this one. I think it will go better.

For one thing, it’s less complex. And when you’re developing a system, that’s a good way to make sure you get good outcomes, even if the system still has room to improve.

I guess I’m saying the deliverable here isn’t entirely dependent on the process. We have room to make mistakes and learn, and still give the customer what is needed.

But, we’re treating this as if it were much bigger. We’re doing everything we think needs to be done for a totally professional shoot. It’s a lot of work, but as we get more and more jobs, this exercise will pay off big.

So, I’ll close here and get back to finishing up for tomorrow.

May you find joy in all that you do. May you prosper greatly, becoming able to give back to others who are in need.

Good night.

Be your best you!

"Thank You" Message to Paying Supporters:

Thank you very much for your help underwriting the cost of producing AGI Stories content. You can be sure that your paid membership is valued greatly! At the time of this post, not counting hardware, AGI Stories racks up expenses of just at $100 per month.

Patreon members… You are covering a nice portion of that.

I believe most of you who help with the costs are doing so because you want to support the production process and show your encouragement. That means so much to me! I am honored and greatly moved.

While most of the content on AGI Stories is free and much of it is public, the hope is that reserving a few pictures and small sections of the post for you is a modest indication of gratitude!

Again, thank you very, very much.

Common Hamster

What a day, huh? No coffee shot this morning! Off to the races. Good luck with everything today.

Ok. 1st floor Jason. 2nd floor Clay, Sasha, Geoni and Josh? Then third floor is you. Is that right? Glad the process went smoothly. Have a good afternoon.

Glad you guys have had a successful day. Probably happened that way by starting the day right with breakfast at Denny's. Hope everything tomorrow goes as planned. To quote Hannibal Smith, "I love it when a plan comes together. " I bid you goodnight. 🌙.
