Good Morning

Happy Sunday everyone! I hope you are having a great morning. As for me, I’m sort of running late. I can explain…

Normally on a Sunday, by now, I’d be somewhere between a second cup of coffee and being dressed for church. This morning, I decided to check in with one of my favorite creators on Instagram, @richard_realmtrekker .

Richard writes a serialized story set in a distant world. The vibe is rich and the world is expansive. His characters are compelling, varied, and definitely interesting.

I realized today that I’m way behind on recent chapters, so I started catching up. Then I went back to earlier chapters and reread some of them.

Sunny Sunday

Church has just been dismissed, and Geoni thought we should take pictures. Plot twist! Jason insisted she be in one!

Today, the message was about how actions reveal our priorities. There was a poignant object lesson: You can say living healthy is a priority, but if you never exercise and don’t eat right, is it really?

If we apply that to what we claim to be important, a lot is revealed. Does how we spend our time and use our resources actually line up with what we say we believe?

It gives me a lot to think about…

Now that we’re done taking pictures, we’re heading back to the condos for the afternoon. Tonight, the working plan is to walk somewhere and have dinner. Nothing really fancy, but just an excuse to hang out and talk about things to come this week.

There’s that whole moving-Dad-and-Grammy situation, and I believe we can get that scheduled for… soon!

Good Night

Well, we have ended up headed for Louie's Backyard. We’ve been there before, and liked it, so I’m looking forward to a nice evening.

The afternoon was probably as productive as it was relaxing. Josh and I sort of checked in with Dad and Grammy. There’s really no reason we can’t get movers here ASAP, probably in a few days. Dad totally agreed. Grammy never agrees with anything.

So, while Dad’s at work tomorrow, I’m going to call around and get something scheduled. That should check that off the list of things to do.

And I suppose this sort of brings me to the end of the day… and the week. I feel like it was a good one, and I’m really happy you could share it with me.
