TALKING TO DUBAI by Jordan Warner
Just got off a Teams call with ClearStream’s new client in Dubai, Al Thuraya Global Logistics. No, the camera wasn’t on!
I’m at my desk that is jammed into one corner of my bedroom in my apartment. Which, by the way, I love. And having Hayes as my roommate makes it even better.
But back to that call!
Can you believe this little ol’ girl from White Station High School just got off a call with an international… ahem… freight, maritime shipping, and supply-chain analytics company?
Hardly can I!
My mom and dad are sort of freaking out about all this. You know the bit… “Oh, my! Our little girl is doing such important work!”
While it's sappy, it's also, low-key, pretty much true.
Not trying to seem boastful, but that call just sealed their agreement to add about $25,000 to the project. As well as about 5 months more project time.
Meanwhile, the boss is out in Colorado with the third member of our LLC.
But it’s not a business meeting! I suppose you already knew that!
OMG! Did you see the airport picture from yesterday!
I’d be expecting to hear something from one of them soon, so keep your eyes open!

HE’S REALLY HERE by Cindi Curtis
I didn’t have much to say at the airport yesterday, and to be honest, I feel like stopping to write this is squandering my time with Michael. But, he says many of you have been anticipating this for a long time, and we have to let you know how great things are going. I know he’s right!
All along, many of you have been gently urging me to be open-minded. Not to be scared. To trust my desires and not listen to my anxiety. I can’t thank you enough.
Yesterday, and today have been great. I think I’m too excited to notice if I’m anxious!
This is Michael’s second visit out here. I cannot tell you how different it is!
This time, I’m allowing myself to feel and think the thoughts I so desperately wanted to experience the first visit. The feelings my anxiety said couldn’t be real.
And maybe the first time they were just seeds of feelings. But I know, even then, I hoped for them.
My last boyfriend was in high school. I tweeted about the fall of 2016. It just ended. Over the next couple years there were some false-starts that went nowhere. By then, my anxiety disorder was coming on strong and hard.
Now, years later… I’m 26 now (so is Michael). Michael and I reconnected on IG and X back in March. He came out in June to visit.
As most of you know, there’s been a steady growth since then. Our occasional IG comments grew into regular DMs, then text messages.
We started playing World of Warcraft on a whim when we realized both of our fathers play. Discord gradually got replaced by FaceTime/cameras on.
FaceTiming while playing grew into FaceTiming almost continuously. There have been times I left my iPad on in the living room all night, even though I was in my bedroom!
Now, here we are!
This is too good! The feelings are not only emotional, but tactile. It was beyond easy to run to him and hug him. Mom and Dad looked on, happy that I didn’t melt into a puddle of fear.
My thoughts at this moment:
1.) Mom! No more baby pictures.
2.) Don’t let this ever end!
Be your best you!

"Thank You" Message to Paying Supporters:
Thank you very much for your help underwriting the cost of producing AGI Stories content. You can be sure that your paid membership is valued greatly! At the time of this post, not counting hardware, AGI Stories racks up expenses of just at $100 per month.
Patreon members… You are covering a nice portion of that.
I believe most of you who help with the costs are doing so because you want to support the production process and show your encouragement. That means so much to me! I am honored and greatly moved.
While most of the content on AGI Stories is free and much of it is public, the hope is that reserving a few pictures and small sections of the post for you is a modest indication of gratitude!
Again, thank you very, very much.
