AGI Stories content almost always appears on Patreon first, in advance of all other platforms. You get it first!

Message from AGI-Stories…

It's been a crazy week! A lot of long posts continued here from Instagram. A lot of distractions with things besides creating content.

I think I'm out of the woods, now! Should have a more-normal week coming up!

I'm setting this diary entry to FREE and PUBLIC as a thank you to anyone who ends up here from one of the earlier posts.

And let me add a huge thank you to all of the regulars here on Patreon who like and comment on the posts. I wish that you knew just how much that means to me!

Thanks!

GOOD MORNING

For the record, Jasmine is still asleep. Also, I managed to find the camera remote, make sure all my girl parts were covered, and snap a picture. That’s progress, right?

We actually have a fairly easy morning. Coffee. Shower. Coffee. Get dressed. Pack. Airport, and then…

So, at that point routine travel mayhem kicks in. Check bags. Check photo gear flight cases. Convince TSA we should be allowed to go home. Wait at the gate.

You probably know how it goes.

Right now, I’m thinking after I post this, I’m going to see about another few minutes of head-on-the-pillow. You wouldn’t blame me would you?

I’ll check in from the airport. See you then!

HOMEWARD BOUND

So, we’re in the airport. As promised! I can’t think of anything more to add about that!

I’m definitely looking forward to getting home, although the weather isn’t especially favorable. We set out for three nights and ended up staying five—if I’m counting correctly! That sort of deviation makes for some issues around all the things you packed and what you didn’t pack!

But, I’ve heard from several of you that you loved the images. Some of you said Jasmine’s mountain trail work was stunning, and I think you were absolutely right! So, all in all, I think this was a great venture for AGI Stories, and I’m pretty sure it’s going to lead to more, similar things in months to come!

See you then!

STILL CHILL

Guess who’s back on the beach? Yes, Clay and I are back at Mermaid Beach here in St. Croix.

Like you, I’ve been following Ailana, Jasmine, and Jason’s trip to Montana—add Denver—with interest. We’ve been talking about the ideas emerging from Naomi’s growing interest.

Clay thinks she’s on the verge of something really smart. “Imagine if she positions herself as the go-to agency for rapid response work, and partners with AGI Stories for the talent deployment… Once the industry learns what she can deliver, she starts passing work to us.”

“I see what you mean,” I said.

“We become like a crisis creative team! She identifies the crises and we’re the team to solve the problem.”

Not lost to Clay’s keen grasp of business was the reality that we can, now, provide a rather diverse group of models, so inclusivity becomes part and parcel to your capacity.

“Ailana has that classic blonde look… Jasmine covers needs for African-American looks… If we count Kirina, we have an Asian look… You, too, sort of in that direction… and Geoni… All different… On the guy side, we have the European and African-American looks represented. And maybe we can count Eli in… I dunno…”

Clay is supposed to be enjoying the beach, but really, he’s working through all the logistics angles related to who all is a model and how they can contribute. In his mind, it’s less about labels and more about readiness—who can step into which opportunity and offer the most to it. How quickly could a team be assembled if a client called with short notice?

The sun and surf are just background noise while he quietly maps out capability, coverage, and the kind of flexibility that turns a creative group into a reliable operation.

I’m gonna let his thoughts run for a few minutes, then I’ll drag him out into the waves!

I’m looking forward to everyone getting here! It’s going to be great!

GOOD NIGHT

I’m home. Over the past year, that word—home—has started to mean so much more than a place to live.

I’ve said many times that growing up, home was wherever Dad was, even when we lived in the shelter or the really run-down house in Whiting, Indiana. Between college and the winter of 2024, home was where my suitcase was.

In an early post I made I said that, technically, I was homeless. But something happened in January of 2024 when I slowed down and started thinking about how I had arrived at the place I was.

Those changes led to the purchase of this condo building, here in South Padre Island. Until a few weeks ago, Dad and Grammy lived right below me.

(By the way… He LOVES the new house. Having the upstairs as his space and leaving Grammy on the ground floor has made him very happy. And being able to walk outside without stairs has made her… less unhappy. But, she’s delighted that she can dig dirt and plant things in the ground!)

Already, the Phase II remodel is underway. I can’t believe how much was accomplished while we were gone.

Our home here in South Padre is physically changing. And it’s changed emotionally too.

When I first moved here I thought of it as my home. Now, I feel—feel like it is my home. I feel like I have little baby roots going down into the island. And I know time will only grow them deeper.

Now, it’s time to look ahead. If you read the Denny’s post with Dad, you know I’ve been avoiding a conversation. That needs to happen, and I want it to happen before we leave for St. Croix.

So, wish me luck and wisdom!

May wherever you lay your head at night feel like a cradle for your belonging, a place that grounds you and adds meaning to your days.

Good night.

Be your best you!

I believe most of you who help with the costs are doing so because you want to support the production process and show your encouragement. That means so much to me! I am honored and greatly moved.

While most of the content on AGI Stories is free and much of it is public, the hope is that reserving a few pictures and small sections of the post for you is a modest indication of gratitude!

Again, thank you very, very much.

STILL CHILL. Still love the name of the beach. Hello Sasha. What if Naomi positions herself as the go-to agency for rapid response work, and partners with AGI Stories for the talent deployment? Well, Clay, what a great idea! 💡 You might eventually need your own plane, like a Gulfstream G650ER., or at least access to one. I'm sure you and Sasha will figure it out. Thanks for the update.

GOOD NIGHT. Glad you feel like you have found a home. I have always respected your father for trying to give you a sense of safety and home wherever your circumstances placed you. I'm happy you both have that for certain now. You already know that I fervently wish you good luck and wisdom in your upcoming talk. Thank you for the evening post. I bid you goodnight. 🌙.
