Message from AGI-Stories…

You may remember that the previous week was very busy and irregular for the creative process. I had some away-from-keyboard time to think about things.

As a result, I came to decide that the Health For Humanity storyline was not likely to ever be developed as it should have been. Creative time for it would have to come after the others—Ailana's Diary, The Chosen, River City Connections, and Secrets Of The World.

I decided to be realistic.

As I said last week, Ailana's Diary is the top priority on Instagram and here. It was first. It is most developed and most followed.

My working plan is to keep the characters from Health For Humanity in mind for future roles there. I have a nugget of an idea what could happen, possibly as early as January or February. But if it doesn't work out… well, they haven't had any stories for ages, so nothing changes.

But with the glimmer of the idea it might happen, I'm including this epilogue in Ailana's Diary as well.

Thanks!

NEW HORIZONS by Vanessa Lenen

It was a good job. I was part of a lot of work that did a lot of good for a lot of people. But good things rarely last forever.

As 2025 comes to an end, so too does Health For Humanity. Its funding and resources have been redirected to a bigger, more comprehensive organization, and many of its staff will be transitioned into it as well.

Here, not so much. I’m ready for a change, so I’ve accepted an invitation to NYU to do a symposium on my field work for a few weeks after Christmas. Between now and then, I’ll get the lab packed up and shipped off, then, I’m heading back home to California to visit my parents.

Dr Olivia Overmark is staying on with the new company, and she’ll head to Geneva in a few days. She’s going to have a few days to relax, then she’ll meet with the new agency and get her new assignment.

Min Arora, the nurse practitioner on the team, is planning time off. She’s going to Thailand with the plan to travel by foot, bike, bus, and boat until she gets to Singapore. She claims she’ll figure out what’s next along the way.

Dr. Amir Kumar will go home to Hyderabad, Telangana. He plans to take some time off, reconnect with another doctor, Anika Arora, Min’s sister. Amir and Anika had been in a solid romantic relationship with plans to marry. But, Dr. Kumar’s emergency assignment to Indonesia back in 2024 and then to here after that disrupted their plans.

Health For Humanity did some great work. I’m proud of what I could do for them, and I’ll miss the adventures. But it’s time for whatever’s next.

I don’t know when—or even if—I’ll next find a place in the pages of some story. If I do, I would suppose it will be me doing some sort of research that involves deadly little microbes somewhere.

Be your best you!

"Thank You" Message to Paying Supporters:

Thank you very much for your help underwriting the cost of producing AGI Stories content. You can be sure that your paid membership is valued greatly! At the time of this post, not counting hardware, AGI Stories racks up expenses of just at $100 per month.

Patreon members… You are covering a nice portion of that.

I believe most of you who help with the costs are doing so because you want to support the production process and show your encouragement. That means so much to me! I am honored and greatly moved.

While most of the content on AGI Stories is free and much of it is public, the hope is that reserving a few pictures and small sections of the post for you is a modest indication of gratitude!

Again, thank you very, very much.
